Beautiful Bright Remodel Minutes from Downtown

I was in Alaska on work assignment for 40 days. This place and the host were wonderful. The house has everything you could need - host even has bear spray(it IS Alaska). If you are there in late July into August there is a raspberry bramble along fence in the backyard to pick fresh berries from each day and fresh rhubarb that host encourages guests to use. I even made fresh raspberry jam. Location is great - you can easily walk to downtown Anchorage or to Tony Knowles path. Easy to park on street in front of house - no permit needed! When I go back, host will be one of my first calls! There are lots of towels, sheets, pillows, washer, dryer, drip coffee maker, bean grinder etc. The bed linens and sheets were phenomenal. Air purifier in the bed room, good closet and drawer space, two big flat screen TVs - but I never even turned those on - too much to do outside in Alaska in the Summer. Host is very responsive and accommodating! Highly recommend this property and host!!

This place was the cleanest place we’ve stayed at! The location was great and we felt safe during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough and will book again if we return to Anchorage!

Truly the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The property had so many thoughtful touches and every utensil you could ask for in the kitchen. The host was very communicative and kind and check in and out was a breeze. Location was also lovely and very walkable to downtown. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at this property for 10 days in September 2024. The property was just as described in the listing. It was very clean and towels, toilet paper and tea was in abundance. The natural light is amazing and the host provides some streaming services at no additional cost. The unit is walking distance to downtown. Although we had a vehicle, we walked to the Anchorage Visitors Center, The Federal Building (hosts a small museum) and many shops and restaurants. The unit is also close to major roadways and the Alaska Railroad Depot, Anchorage. Most important the unit is around the corner from Star the reindeer. We paid almost daily visits to our, now, favorite reindeer. We had an amazing time in Anchorage and coming “home” to a warm inviting place is the start.

Rental for Anchorage was great. Courtney had everything we needed and was very helpful. The location is great and we felt very safe walking into the city. Be sure to say hello to Jack! The quiest and friendliest host dog.

This basement apartment was wonderful! The apartment contained a ton of natural light and was very clean and recently remodeled. The neighborhood was quiet with convenient access to downtown. I highly recommend staying here and will return myself!

Our stay at this property was exceptional. The accommodations were spotless and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The host was highly responsive, and Jack was a delightful addition to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, as the location was conveniently situated for exploring Anchorage and its surroundings.

My husband, and 4 yr old son and I had a wonderful stay at this property that was walking distance from downtown. The property had everything that we imagine we needed, communication was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we were headed back to Anchorage!

Exceptional property for its location, cleanliness, and for being a true home away from home. Loved the owner and her Alaskan dog named Jack. Our stay was a joy!

Very comfortable apartment in quiet neighborhood. Unit is modern, roomy and well stocked. Definitely will stay here again.

My spouse and I visited for the Anchorage Mayor's Marathon. This was an excellent base for that activity, and for anyone coming in to town to spend time outside. It's an easy walk to Downtown and many trails. (I've never seen so many sidewalks in my life) The property itself is cozy and well appointed. It had everything we need to cook and the plants made for wonderful decor. I'd recommend this property in a heartbeat. There are stairs required to access but there is a handrail. It felt like home away from home. Courtney is also a wonderful host and was very responsive and helpful.

This VRBO was perfect. In town for work and could easily walk downtown. Clean and bright (with blinds and curtains too) and more spacious than looks from outside. Everything about this was perfect
