Stayed Dec 25, 2019Great location, wonderful apartment within walking distance of some nice restaurants. Visited the Frick Museum which was close by during our stay. Parked on the side street as suggested which was not a far walk to the apartment and much safer than the main street. So thankful for the snacks. They were very much appreciated.

Stayed Oct 12, 2025A wonderful apartment. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed. Very close to the restaurants and Frick Park. This apartment is on a busy street but the traffic noise was fine when the curtains were closed. The best place to park would be on the side streets. We will stay again!

Stayed Aug 28, 2025We have stayed here 3 years in a row now! Jon is friendly, but not overbearing, available by text/vrbo message as well. He helped make sure I got a package I needed to have delivered while there. The best thing about this place, is his generous and thoughtful stocking up of FOOD, DRINKS, SNACKS, LIQUOR, and also in the bathroom, basic needs like Tylenol, cotton balls, bobby pins, hair ties, etc. Shampoo and Conditioner, soap, mouthwash. The house is furnished with cool books, art, antiques and knick knacks so it feels like HOME not a dr office or motel room. Yet somehow the rates are lower than most other places with no where near as many comforts of 'home'. Pittsburgh is made of magic, there is plenty to do nearby, including the Dive Bar only a couple doors down with great food, drinks and fun things like karaoke thursdays. Cross the street and the glorious Frick Park and Homewood trails have deer and nature, and places to play no matter your age. The neighborhood itself is so charming, lvoely gardens and peaceful. We will be back!!!

Stayed Nov 26, 2024This is an excellent property across from Frick Park. It's conveniently located to nice restaurants, churches, a French bakery and other amenities. The apartment is beautifully decorated with antiques and the kitchen and bath areas are modernized. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the real surprise is that the host provided food and drink for personal use. Because this duplex apartment is on a main thoroughfare, be aware that you can park in front for 30 minutes to unload your belongings and then you will drive around the block to park on a side street that is a few houses down from this location.

Stayed Aug 29, 2024The property manager takes good care of making sure there are all the things you might need, generous stocked liquor cabinet and a fridge full of juices and mixers. Yogurt, milk, cereal, eggs, coffee, wine, and more! Pasta and sauce, crackers and cheese, snacks, chocolate, what more do you need?! It's nice to not have to find a grocery store just for a few things, it's all there. We also love the Dive Bar just 2 doors down, a lovely walk to lots of great food. Frick park across the street has wonderful trails and a ton of amazing places including Mac Miller's Blue Slide Park!

Stayed Aug 23, 2024We had a wonderful stay at this apartment which is part of a historic, multi-family home in Regents Square. Yintz should stay here on your next trip. The stained glass in the main bedroom is a touch of Pittsburgh that looks beautiful in the morning light. The kitchen was stocked to the brim with food and drinks. The bottle of wine was a nice touch! The dishware and cooking utensils were wonderful as a couple that likes to cook when travelling. And the bathroom is very nice and clean. All the details made for a wonderful stay. If we go back to PBH, you can bet we will stay here again. A great property!

Stayed Jul 3, 2024Host met us upon arrival. Although the rental agreement indicated it was street parking I was not prepared for such a busy road with inadequate parking. We parked next block over on Guthrie… until gas co closed road due to work. Ugh. We were there 8 nights. Great host. No central air in this July heat. Portable units worked well for the rooms they were in. If you are ok with parking on busy streets then you will like this house. Frick Park was nice too
