Beachside Unit 29 - Key Colony

Beautiful spot with everything we needed. Managment treated me like i was a child and acted a little sketchy towards me for using the propain grill . Guessing they had a bad experience with someone else, but no big deal Besides that 0 issues loved every minute of mini season in this location .

We enjoyed our stay and used it to explore the mid and lower keys. The unit was thoroughly equipped, clean, and well layed out- it shows a lot of thought and care by the owner. We would definitely enjoy staying here again, and highly recommend it.

We had a very enjoyable vacation. Prior to arrival, you are sent a listing of recommended restaurants and activities, which was very helpful. Also the combo lock entry was very helpful, as we arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delays. Next time we are avoiding the Key West airport in the spring due to very long flight delays on both ends of the trip.

The unit was clean and neatly organized upon check-in. It was moderately equipped. We appreciated that coffee filters were provided. Salt was provided. The kitchen needs a spice rack provided (or pepper and seasoning salt at minimum). Beach chairs/umbrella were not provided but would've been handy during our stay. Beach towels were supplied. The beds were not very supportive nor comfortable. After 3 nights, everyone had sore backs. The note on the wall behind the kitchen sink says that there's a $25 fee if dishes aren't washed and put away before check-out. The property description does not advertise a dishwasher. However, it would be more transparent if this was in the listing. Check out time at 10 am. Check-in information was received in a timely manner. The host was responsive to questions. The location is great. It is a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores.

Absolutely our favorite stop in our many stops in the keys. Very laid back and nice atmosphere at the beach area. We enjoyed walking to the local restaurants and bars in the area, and sunset beach did not disappoint! We will definitely be back!

Went to celebrate my 60th bday and it was perfect. Had everything you needed and some. Right next to beach, pool and sunset park. Great quiet neighborhood for taking walks and bike rides. Close to shopping but far enough away from noise. We will be back, perfect location for what we were looking for.

We had a lovely stay in a perfect property (No. 29). Right by a small beach and a nice pool. The apartment was lovely and bright, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only addition that would have been useful would be a couple of beach chairs that we could borrow for when we went out and about. I have scored the 'Check in process' as only 2 stars because I was not happy to have to sign a Waiver before we were allowed on the property or gain the door access code. This felt very concerning to us but we had no choice but to sign. Otherwise the check in was very simple.

Great location. Amenities were fine-grill at the beach and access to sunset park we’re great.

The property was very well maintained and the unit we stayed in was clean.
