Beachside Unit 27 - Key Colony, Beachside Unit 27 - The Beach is Calling You!

We enjoyed everything about the property. We were looking for a less crowded quiet place and this was perfect. Sunset Beach is a great spot to watch the sun go down and it's only about 100 yards away. No fishing allowed on the property was a bit disappointing.

Overall very nice place. Great beach area to hang out and relax. Our only issue was with check in. When we arrived and tried to enter the maid was still there. She told us another 40 min which put a damper on our plans. We had planned to come into our room and freshen up before meeting the rest of our party but because of the extra time we could not. Also, the floor was dirty, not sure if she forgot to vacuum.

It was great, the perfect size and location for me and my husband. And the view at the “beach” was amazing we loved eating breakfast out there!!

We had an awesome stay in this unit! Very clean and updated. There was everything you possible needed in the unit. We loved the beach and surrounding neighborhood. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Will definitely visit again!

First the good to great: loved the location, loved its proximity to Sunset Park, great view from beach area, good pool, good outdoor chairs, great picnic area, quiet, easy access to restaurants and other Keys. Grounds were clean and well-manicured. The bad: I had to call and ask for the property to be cleaned again, after we first arrived. Kathleen came very quickly and cleaned the unit. She was very apologetic and asked to see everything that wasn't clean so she could make it right (which she did). The bed was abominable! Very uncomfortable. I slept in the small recliner 2 nights. TV was not connected to the internet so I couldn't use any of my streaming services but I didn't ask about it beforehand, so that's on me. Washer/dryer were coin-operated and not in the unit, but I didn't need them for a short stay.

Pool, beach, grills, room, etc. we're all awesome! We would definitely stay there again.

Great value and great location! The community is quiet, friendly and easy to navigate. The condo was as described and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. I loved watching the boats go by from the patio, and being almost next door to Sunset Park. There is much to do on Marathon but it is also a great central location to drive from to visit neighboring Keys, which we did. The communication was excellent throughout, with all my questions being addressed leading up to my stay. This trip for my stepmother and I was a dream come true. Should my travels take me to the Keys again, I would most definitely stay here again. Thank you very much!

The unit was impeccably clean and the current photos don’t do it justice as the condo was much more updated than expected. The kitchen offers all the conveniences needed for your vacation. The location in the complex was convenient to the beach and pool area. The beach offered plenty of comfortable chairs and covered tables for outside dining. We were able to rent bikes that included delivery and pick up. The property manager contact, Michelle, was very helpful upon our check-in. I would definitely recommend this condo for a relaxing vacation spot.

Great neighborhood and location. Sunrise a mere steps away and Sunset Park a must for evening sunset viewing. The studio was perfect for my spouse and me. Very clean. Access to restaurants, groceries, things to do and beach perfect. Boat traffic is constant and impacts the beach to the extent it is difficult to kayak and paddle board at this location. However there are many locations where you can do so.

The ease of the location and sunrise/sunset were perfect. We loved star gazing and listening to the water on the beach after dark. Such a peaceful vacation and wonderful restaurants. We found plenty to do and short trips to any other key island that we wanted to visit was simple. We hope to stay again sometime.
