Welcome to North Coast Escape a comfortable lower level 2-bedroom apartment with beach access. Ideally located a stone's throw away from Canal Park and the Aerial Lift Bridge, you're right in the center of Duluth's vibrant dining and entertainment scene, with an abundance of local shops to explore. Enjoy your vacation with a path straight to Park Point Beach! Park Point Beach is a hidden gem, a tranquil oasis where the world seems to slow down, grab a paddle-board or kayak off the shared rackand head down to the lake. Nestled on the world's largest freshwater sandbar, it stretches for miles, offering an expansive shoreline that's perfect for long, serene walks. The entire lower level basement apartment and patio is all yours to relish. Just keep in mind, there's a tenant upstairs, so you might hear a footsteps now and then.

North Coast Escapes open layout invites you to make memories with your loved ones in the spacious living room and kitchen. Retreat to the comfort of the two bedrooms to recharge after a busy day, both bedroom featuring plush king sized beds. The living room has two addition sleeping space with two twin sleeper sofas. Utilize the patio and enjoy outdoor seating, or head down the shared beach path with a paddle-board or kayak.

- Paddle-boards and kayaks are on the rack in the backyard and are shared between this property and the neighboring property.

During the bustling summer months, you might experience what locals call Bridged, which can take anywhere from 5-25 mins. But hey, it's a great excuse to kick back and watch the majestic boats glide by!

Pets - We're more than happy to accommodate up to 2 dogs at our place. There's just a small fee of $75 per dog. If you want to know more about our rules and regulations for bringing your furry friend, we've got all the details for you in our house rules and regulations.

Transit - While having a car is recommended for convenience, no worries if you don't have one. Duluth has got you covered with plenty of public transportation options to explore the area. You can hop on the Duluth Transit, or take advantage of ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. And if you prefer traditional taxis, there are many other taxi services available too. So, whether you're cruising in your own car or using one of these convenient options, getting around won't be a problem at all. Enjoy your adventures in Duluth!

You'll find our contact information in your booking confirmation. We'll primarily communicate through the booking platform and/or email, so keep an eye out for important check-in info. VACATION RENTAL HOUSE RULES

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a) All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay; and b) Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.

2. NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD a) This Vacation Rental is suitable for children of all ages! Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the Neighborhood; b) Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and departure; c) Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit;

3. VISITORS a) Guests are allowed a maximum of 4 visitors at any time during their stay. b) Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that visitors are complicit with these House Rules.

4. FUNCTIONS a) Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Vacation Rental; and b) Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.

5. PARKING a) Guests and any visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out by the property manger and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles; please use the designated parking.

6. SECURITY a) Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. b) Guests must switch off the lights, air conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving.

7. SMOKING a) Smoking is not permitted inside the Vacation Rental; and b) Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (in large trash cans located outside property or off property all together) and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.

8. PETS a) IF dogs are permitted at the Vacation Rental; b) Specific rules regarding Pets at the Vacation Rental are as follows: Please keep pets off all furniture and be sure to have on a leash at all times when outside of the home. Also be sure to clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in the trash bins located outside of property. Please respect neighbors by limiting the barking of pets on the property; c) A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; for short term reservations the pet fee is $75/dog, for extended stays the fee is $150/pet. All mention of pets denotes DOGS ONLY, no other pets are permitted.

9. DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES a) All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. And; b) To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.

10. CHECK OUT ARRANGEMENTS a) Please be sure to lock all doors and leave both sets of keys back in the lockbox. Check out is at 10am - if you need a later checkout please contact me as soon as possible to make arrangements.

11. EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS: a) In the event of an emergency relating to the Vacation Rental, your emergency contact is: Heirloom Vacation Rentals 218-409-4885 b) In the event of all other emergencies please call 911.

12. COMPLIANCE a) Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the Rental Agreement. b) The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community.

    It was the perfect place to stay in Duluth. It was quiet at night and close enough to all the great places to eat and shop! Especially loved waking up in the morning and going to a walk on the beach. The communication was great, place was easy to find and nice and clean.

    It was very quiet. The place was clean and it was nice to walk out to the beach from the backdoor. Husband's favorite part was the lift bridge was close enough to walk to so he could see the freighters arrive.

    Property location is outstanding. Close to downtown, however still quiet area. Beds, bedding top tier. Property had life jackets, paddle boards available for use, or lawn chairs if you just want to kick back on the beach. Only area of improvement, water pressure in the shower. I would recommend this property to anyone.Had a great stay.

    Beautifully decorated, comfortable, perfectly placed for the beach and Park Point. Be sure to being your own beach towels! What a great spot to relax and enjoy Lake Superior and Duluth.

    We were in town as vendors for a local fair and this place was a great place to go to unwind by Lake Superior. Very quiet and peaceful. So quiet I had to put on a white noise machine lol. Very accommodating staff to work with when I had questions. A+.

    The apartment was perfect to enjoy the beach and walking distance to some of the bars and restaurants. Beds / living area were comfortable and kitchen had essentials. Hope we can return to Duluth and would stay here again!
