It was right on a private beach
Very Comfortable accomodations with easy beach access and privacy. Thanks Evan you were a great host.
Loved our time here! Evan was a great and made sure we had every we needed! Can’t wait to come back for more sun and fun!
An amazing oasis on the beach. The vrbo has everything you need to sleep and rest up, but this is really about the proximity to the beach, the surrounding lush greenery, and beach amenities (hammock, beach chairs, umbrella, kayaks, the 1000+ year old banyan tree, proximity to englewood dinning on the beach, dolphins swimming by at 9am every morning). Evan is very communicative and a great host. Just be sure to read all fo the descriptions so you are not surprised by anything (not a full kitchen and not a view of the beach from the house, but a few steps away and your on the beach - bring your bug spray). Enjoy!
Enjoyed our time at Manasota Key. Beach and stay were great.
Best rental we have ever had. The property itself is absolutely stunning, clean, and convenient to everything you could need. The property owner goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The level of hospitality we felt was more like we were staying at a family members house rather than a rental on Vrbo. The fact that with this rental you have access to both the gulf beach within steps and the bay across the street at the owners other property. Trying to plan our next trip already and we just left this morning
very nice basement apartment with 2 bedrooms and an efficiency kitchen. Very nice grill. Our family of 4 did well with all of our meals here. Owner's son on site and very friendly and helpful. Beautiful landscaping. Very quiet. Comfortable beds. Excellent communication with host. Highly recommend
The pictures show a nice bed with two windows and abundant light. That is not what you get. We had one small narrow window that wouldn’t open and that the shade had to stay down for privacy. The other bedroom is behind a locked door, and it costs additional money. I texted the owner when we got there and he did not respond for a few hours, even though he was on property. I asked about internet and he kept saying it was in the bedroom instead of just giving me the password. He was very condescending and obnoxious. He did leave a 10 page “booklet” to let us know what we can and can’t do. There were many don’t make on this list including don’t walk in front of the house: go around the back and use the path to the beach. At 9:30 at night, he sent his son to tell us we needed to move our car because that was where his grandfather parked. We moved it and we’re then told we couldn’t park there either, although numerous other of their family parked in the circle and blocked it. Someone was in our apartment everyday, turning the temperature way up and goodness knows what else. There was no stove, no oven, a dorm style refrigerator and a 6 inch wide sink, which made it difficult to do dishes (no dishwasher) In summary, we felt like we were living in our parents basement ( no sunlight, 3 small rooms and the 10 page rule book). The rental said kayaks and other activities but there was none there for us. In short, he was seemed to be an entitled person who was very condescending and rude.
This is a great space for a relaxing time at the beach. Its is a cozy studio style, large carpeted bedroom/living room area with bed, tv, dresser and pull out couch. There is a decent size closet as well. The shower was great. Small kitchen however the host thinks about everything needed (ice maker, toaster oven, ect). There is a hammock on the beach for guest to use. The beach is no further than a few steps around the house and down stairs to the sand. The host is very responsive and readily available if anything is needed. Thank you for the great hospitality!
This was a 5-day stopover on our way home to New England after 3 months further south. The beach is virtually out the front door, around at the front of the house. This apartment is a comfortable studio kind of place with large BR/ LR, (carpeted) and separate dining area with tiny but functional kitchen (dorm fridge.) Bath/ shower is great and small area to sit outside on canvas chairs. Beach chairs and nice towels provided; swimming is fabulous We found many shells & sharks teeth. The owners were very responsive. Thanks !
