Barnside Hangout - Country setting near wineries and downtown Fredericksburg

I tested positive for Covid 19. Advised property manager and was told sorry hope you get better soon. I was at ER and Dr diagnosed me with Covid 19. How can I go and contaminate the entire house. I was looking out for the oweners and everyone’s safety.

Was an absolutely wonderful and peaceful stay, the bed was very comfortable and we felt right at home!

Property was off the beaten path, loved it! The rental property was clean and well cared for. Great for couples!

Place was wonderful, comfortable, and the Host kept us well informed. Would gladly stay again.

Highly recommend this place! Very clean, and has everything we needed. They had shampoo/conditioner & body wash in the shower, Q-tips and cotton balls, coffee and cream, water prepped in the fridge, wine glasses and opener, - the list goes on. We enjoyed waking up to all of the animals and the peaceful surroundings. We were only there for one night and didn’t get in until late but I wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again!

The place was already decorated for Christmas! It was a lovely surprise! Place was clean and was just like pictures. We had a great time and it was just what we needed.

Very nicely decorated place that was clean and inviting. Great communication. Loved the peace and quiet yet we were close to wineries and downtown Fredericksburg. We really enjoyed watching the sheep and cows. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Barnside hang out was so cozy and cute. It was so nice to be a little secluded. The bed was soooo comfy and the shower was so nice. Host was very attentive when we needed something. I would definitely stay again!

Check in was super easy. Love that it was an hour earlier than most. Comfortable bed. Clean. Quiet country stay. Loved seeing the animals.

I booked this for my in-laws and they absolutely loved it. The house is absolutely adorable and so cozy. They loved their stay! The owners were quick with responses. My in-laws accidentally locked themselves out of the unit and they had someone there to unlock it in less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin was clean and comfortable. Quiet location with plenty of privacy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very peaceful, relaxing stay at the barnside hangout. The host was great on communication and the living spaces were nicely done and well appointed with everything we needed. The outside was wide open with views of the sunset over the ridge and the full moon in full view.

This was our 2nd visit to Fredericksburg but 1st time staying at this beautiful place. Everything is as pictured but once you arrive it's more than you can imagine. We loved the peace and quiet and most definitely the scenic views. Thanks Kerrine and family for allowing us to stay at such a welcoming place. We enjoyed the animals too. We'll be back soon.

We loved the country, small town feel on a property that was only a 10 minute drive to all of the places on Main Street. We are more suburb people, and the place gave us the country experience while having the perfect size space to relax and hang out after a day of shopping and tasting wines.

We came to Fredericksburg on a busy weekend and hotel prices were very high. We found this place at a reasonable price and it is much nicer than staying at a hotel. It was comfortable and quiet, had everything we needed and was clean. It was cool walking out the door and seeing deer grazing. There were also baby goats which were very cute. Would definitely stay here again and bring my daughter, she would have loved the animals!

We loved our barnside stay here. The goats were friendly and the pigs were adorable. We can’t wait to stay here again.

My husband and I planned a last minute weekend in Fredericksburg for our anniversary. This place was so perfect. It is on the outer edge of town but close and convenient to all the places we wanted to go. Enchanted rock one way and town the other way. It was peaceful with the evening sunsets by the pond where we fed the catfish and viewed the stars. During the day there were adorable baby goats that greet you each time your out. The cabin was clean and well equipped with all the necessities, the bed was really comfortable, the decor is welcoming and the room spacious and cozy at the same time. You will not be disappointed here. Lovely family and very responsive to communication.

Great location to relax but run into town. Host was wonderful and sitting by the tank watching the sunset was a nice extra. Place was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Thank you

It’s a cute size for our small family! this house has a farmhouse vibe, love the furniture and fixtures. The bed is so comfortable and it reclines too. Great for a quick /short stay. Enjoyed our stay hopefully we can come back soon! Thank you!

We were looking for someplace quiet to relax in the evenings after our daily adventures and we found it! Whether shopping in town, swimming in the Pedernales, driving through the countryside of hiking up Enchanted Rock, Barnside Hangout was perfect place to end our day. Just far enough from town to get away from everything (and the stargazing is magnificent), but close enough to be able to run into town if needed. Unit was nice and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Overall a great experiece!
