Stayed Feb 22, 2019The unit is ideally located. 5-10 minute walk to subway that has 2 lines, one that can take you to/from the airport or convention center without any train changes, and the other that provides access to major Barcelona sites including the main train station. It is located in a quiet neighborhood near the university that has many of the things one needs. Several grocery stores, bakery, fruit stores, a couple of restaurants, bar, etc... Very convenient and easy to get to. The unit itself is small. It works fine for 1 or 2 people. Bathroom is very nice and roomy. No bathtub, but that is not an issue. Washer/dryer unit provides laundry options. The unit was clean and fairly well furnished. AC unit worked well. The bed was comfortable, with storage underneath for luggage. Nice touch! The only items that were a bit lacking, the internet speed was not very fast but I was there on business so my expectations were maybe inappropriate. For vacationers, it is probably fine. There were a few things that would have been nice to have in the kitchen, like a frying pan, or small sauce pan. However for the most part i was able to get things done as needed with what was provided. The owner met me at the unit when i arrived to give me the key and a tour of the unit. Very nice gentleman who was very helpful. I appreciated his suggestions and the information he provided. Overall the unit was great, would definitely recommend. For the week stay I had there, it worked very well. Thanks for having your unit on VRBO!
