The building is directly across the street from the Historic District. The apartment is in a circa1990 building as you can see from the photos. It is set back from the street with private access, a private parking lot, and well-lit access to the entrances.
Modern convenience in an historic setting. This space features modern furnishings and minimalist viewpoint.
You will have private access to the entire one bedroom apartment and the common area of the building, including the laundry room which is right down stairs, on the first level.
There is a push-button entry door to the unit itself. The key to the front door of the building is in a key-box at the front door which you can access with a combination if you need to. The super is always available to let you in, or assist you, however!
Property was OK. There was no cable TV, so watching anything current was not possible. Was a nice space, although the kitchen was quite small.
The apartment is older but had nice updated furniture and Lisa was a very good host.
This property looked exactly like it did online. Well-stocked kitchen very neat and clean. Great location. Had issues with the Wi-Fi but the owner got that taken care of very quickly. We would definitely stay there again.
Overall, great experience at the apartment. Lisa is a WONDERFUL host. The place was very clean and well decorated. She was always readily available whenever we had questions and even left us a bottle of wine! There were internet issues because I believe the entire building shares the same internet and the range is extended within the apartment with one of those Xfinity Extenders. My partner had to work so she had trouble with that but if you're just here for pleasure you'll be set. Overall area is good as the downtown and park areas are quite charming. It's going through gentrification so one block may be wonderful and the next block maybe a little seedy. Just be aware of where you're walking and don't be privileged and ignorant like myself and go walking around at night when you haven't even scoped out the area. We went to the nearby hikes and it was wonderful. I would definitely consider staying here again. With the apartment and the charm of Frederick, I really liked it.
Close to downtown Frederick
The property/unit is very nice. The neighbors are not very quiet, but other than that, it was great!!! I would definitely stay again
This apartment looked just like the pictures posted -- it was cute and clean and had all the necessary items to make the stay pleasant. We did have quite a few issues with the WiFi -- the main router was located in another apartment and so it is shared -- we contacted Lisa and she was always very helpful trying to help us figure things out but I think there needs to be a router in this apartment so that isn't an issue -- unless people don't need to rely on WiFi. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and found the apartment cozy. Thanks for sharing your space with us!
Lisa was awesome to deal with and very responsive. She even went out of her way to help us with the tv. Online pictures were very accurate. Place was great and included all amenities
Lisa was great and very helpful!
We were looking for a place to stay near Gettysburg when we found this and were glad we did. The apartment was as pictured - clean, a nice size for the two of us, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc., lots of room in cabinets and refrigerator/freezer for any food and supplies you might bring (note there is no dishwasher). Living room gave us room to spread out and relax after a day of sightseeing. The big TV is a ROKU (something I'm not really familiar with and wound up not using). There's a hepa filter unit too. The bedroom has ample closet space and a small dresser, nightstands with lamps and a very comfortable bed. No trouble finding parking in the lot. The neighbors and the super were friendly and made us feel welcome. Lisa was prompt and helpful in answering questions that came up. The only downside is I think there was a hint of cigarette smoke from one or more of the neighboring apartments. As for location, as the listing says it's convenient to downtown Frederick which is packed with a variety of restaurants, shopping, and more. You can stroll or bike for miles along Carroll Creek and neighboring parks. Gettysburg, Antietam, Harper's Ferry, Baltimore, Annapolis, Washington D.C., the C&O Towpath Trail, and any number of historic towns, state parks and recreation areas are within easy driving distance.
