Lovely place. Quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Right down the street from Dulce, a great coffee shop/bakery.

Very friendly owners who wanted our stay to be perfect. Clean and with all the things we needed.

False advertising (claimed heating even though this was not the case), could not reach host (not even Vrbo support themselves), had to drive to nearest city and book a new hotel, and now being rejected a refund. Terrible support. Stay away.

Space was very clean! We will be back. It was very cold the days that we stayed but there was a small space heater that kept us warm.

This is a lovely place to stay. Super clean, very responsive host and great location. The bed was really comfortable and great hot water and pressure. We stayed during a very cold weekend and they had extra blankets and heaters for us. Be sure to stop at Dulce cafe right down the road. Excellent coffee, baked goods and sandwiches for hiking trips

This studio was a perfect place to stay while in Everglades City. This unit is centrally located and close to so many things to see and do. We didn't spend too much time in the unit since we were out exploring everyday but when we were done for the day, this unit had everything you needed to tuck in at night and be comfortable for the evening.

This was a beautiful, well designed little cottage that we stayed out while exploring Big Cypress and the Everglades. Has a hot shower, coffee pot and a really thoughtful layout that made this place feel like a private retreat. Host Dulce was awesome and it was super easy to check in and out.

The location was great - easy to find. The back porch with its canopy made all the difference - plenty of room to relax, eat, and even to cook a little.

The location was great for what we had planned for the week (shelling and exploring the 10k islands)! There was more than enough space inside for 2 adults, was very clean & easy to communicate with host! Giving 4 stars because the listing was noted as an “entire home”, however it was an addition on the side of another home. It did have a separate driveway & no access to the rental from the main house, but it did lack some of the privacy an entire home would have offered.

Very clean, cozy , private space to stay. Super comfortable bed and a lot of extra’s. We enjoyed this space a we where very pleased to see that the air conditioning could keep up with the heat. It feels like it’s newly decorated . Good size shower with nice hot water. Well stocked kitchen and apartment size refrigerator. Really great space. Short walk to museum and dock and visitor center. We highly recommend.

Great location, very clean and nice place! Mosquitos were bad in the area and there were some inside when we first entered night one, but once we sprayed we didn’t have a problem with them after that.

I would recommend this place to anyone. It was clean and convenient to everything. Its small but comfortable for 1 to 2 people. Good place if your just looking for a little R&R. I would rent it again.

Cottage was very clean, well stocked for a relaxing weekend. It offered us a respite from hunting pythons and exploring the Big Cypress and ENP.

The stay was wonderful. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Everything is within walking distance in the small little town. The only thing that was a huge disappointment was ALL the mosquitoes. We could not walk outside without being attacked. Not the fault of the property owners obviously, but it was not enjoyable. We were told it was the worst it has been in 20 years. I guess we chose the wrong time to go.

Check in was easy. Everything we needed. Full size fridge cook eye, dishes and utensiles. Snacks were nice. Having a washer and dryer was the best. June was our month to visit. Mosquitos were horrible. Purchased mosquito shirts at hardware store. They helped alot. We went to fish and have fun. We caught fish and had fun!!! So it was a win.Lots of restaurants closed this time of year but still good places to eat.We accidently locked ourselves out. Owner came quickly to open door for us.Highly recommend this home. We would stay here again.

This is a cute little addition to a modest home, was well equipped, small but charming as described, was perfect for our needs and very reasonably priced. Very comfy bed. Very quick to respond to my inquiries, tho we never saw the owners, presumably nextdoor. It seemed very private. It’s in an easy location, walkable anywhere in Everglades City. We were grateful to have found it.

Vrbo has bad communication with traveler regarding Hosts Name and address of where we were going to stay we had to buy a night somewhere else because we received no address of cottage from Vrbo.com . waste of our time .

Exactly as described and a perfect little home base spot for exploring. Clean and cute inside, and easy to find. We had a boat tour and kayak trip in the Everglades / Big Cypress. This was the perfect spot in town to rest up after a day in the sun. Had everything we needed!

Nice place to stay in Everglade City. Well equipped, comfy bed and good location. From the picture I mistakenly thought it was on the water, having never been to Everglade City. Nevertheless, it is a great place to stay!

Came down with my 16 foot boat, house was walking distance to the boat ramp, had a hose to wash off the boat and a car port to keep the boat under. Perfect for a couple.

Close to restaurant, quiet neighborhood.

This property was exactly what we needed for our stay. It offered quiet retreat to recharge from the days activities. It was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. The owner added little touches like tea bags and sunscreen which were pleasant surprises. Use of the washer and dryer was also an added bonus. This will be the first time I am heading home from vacation with a bag packed full of clean clothes. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us for a few days. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again

This is a fantastic apartment for 2-3. Very comfortable queen size bed. Lots of attention to detail and great management. The covered carport is a really nice perk, particularly when Florida showers are in play. Everglades City is small town old Florida. The local grocery store, visitor center, museum, and nice restaurant options are within easy walking distance (we loved Captain Morgan’s and highly recommend). This is a great accommodation in Everglades City, and although we were there for two nights, this apartment would also work quite well for an extended stay.

This cottage was perfect for our 2 day stay. Enjoyed the location. We were able to walk to the restaurants and bike to local attractions. Slept great and enjoyed all the extra touches the owner has put into the place to make it feel cozy and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice unit and the host was extremely responsive. Was there during a record cold snap, and host even provided a small space heater to heat up the room. Only mild “negative” is the unit is listed as having a “kitchen.” There is a full size fridge and sink, but no stove or oven. Unit did include a small microwave and a single plug-in burner. Overall a great spot that I will use again in the future.

Dulce’s place was the perfect getaway for my solo trip to Big Cypress. It was a beautiful, cozy spot where I could recharge after exploring the preserve.

Quiet and quaint. We loved it

This was our first time visiting the Everglades. Everglades City was the perfect entry point (with Shark Valley an easy 50 minute drive through Big Cypress). The rental was cute and comfortable and in a great location (nice neighborhood in walking distance to the water, the Rod and Gun Club and other restaurants, visitor center, etc.). We had a minor problem that needed to be fixed and the host was very accommodating, completing the repair while we were away during the day. They thought of every detail and the decor was calm and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay!

This apartment was perfect for my daughter and me. The bed was comfortable as was the futon. A nice bathroom and kitchen area was great for us. The outside deck was a perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning. The owner and his family were so friendly. We will definitely come back here when in the area!

This small apartment was great. It was very well appointed had everything we needed to stay comfortable and was 1 block from the water. Its smack in the middle of Everglades City and walkable to almost all of the restaurants, as well as 3 minutes drive to all the adventure companies offering pontoon, kayak and airboat toure. We walked to the water (3 minutes walk) and enjoyed teriffic sunsets all 3 nights we were there. Thanks for the peanut butter pretzles!
