Extremely firm bed. No blow dryer. Dirty towel left in bathroom. Parking/entry directions and instructions unclear. Apartment is a dungeon with no windows. Building was extremely loud and you can hear everything happening within the building at all hours.

We ended up not staying at the apartment. I did not feel safe, the hallways smelled like cannabis and the apartment itself like cigarettes. The back alley to the entrance was littered with broken glass and I could not imagine walking there at night and feeling safe. We ended up getting a hotel room instead just so we didn’t have to stay there. I honestly don’t think this apartment should even be an option as a place to stay.

Loft was very nice, location was good. Only thing we had a problem with was finding the entrance (back door). You should word it differently. There is no sign to indicate the old Wells Fargo Bank.

Online, the apartment looked beautiful, which it was; however, there were many issues I had with it. For one, there were ROACHES! I had to kill at least 5 of them. The area is sketchy and I didn’t really feel safe. The air was very muggy inside and I instantly started having issues with my allergies. Because I’m a germaphobe, I took the bedding off to wash it before I slept with it and the mattress was stained and gross looking. The bedding was also not the greatest. I was very dissatisfied but the owner responded and a decent time and gave me a full refund. I didn’t stay a night. I had to get out of there.

They have a problem with housekeeping details. While the apartment was clean it lacked some key details and since it was weekend, I got promises and sincere apologies but housekeeping never showed. I bought the replacements instead. And the foyer was a mess. Looks like no one is in charge. Some reviewers were concerned about the neighborhood however it is an urban setting. I am an urbanite and never felt in any danger. It's a block from shopping and restaurants so plenty of people around.

This is a comfortable place to spend a few days in Richmond and the pictures in the listing tell the story accurately. Steps from Perly's, Stella's grocery and everything else downtown, yet feels calm and quiet in the apartment. There was a persistant acrid smell, like burnt rubber or wires in the bathroom the whole time, which would not clear even with the exhaust fan. Airwick scent in the rest of the apartment - not unpleasant - but if you are scent sensitive it could be an issue. As other reviews have noted, the instructions to check in are confusing - especially since the address is on the front of the building and the numbers in the back don't correspond. Refering to the old Wells Fargo isn't helpful for people who don't know Richmond. Parking lot signs have been taken down for construction, so it was nerve wracking at first, wondering if we'd be towed. Pictures would help. There was an overflowing trash can outside the interior door the whole time. Instructions said trash was empitied daily, so maybe there was building policy change.Overall a good stay.

We were in town for a tournament at the convention center and looking for something walking distance. This was perfect! Less than 5 min walk. The loft had everything we could have asked for and was immaculate. Instructions for entering the loft were clear and easy to follow, as well as communication before, during and after was A+! My only suggestion is that the outside of the place was difficult to find - possibly a photo of the entrance would help! But once we found it, the rest of the stay was smooth as could be. Highly recommend!!!
