Stayed Apr 26, 2025Absolutely gorgeous, and right in the heart of everything! We could walk everywhere. Host was very responsive.

Stayed May 28, 2022The location of this apartment is fantastic. You can walk to almost anywhere of interest in Rome. Communication, check-in and cleanliness was fine. The view from the balcony is great. That said, here are some of the drawbacks: Wifi is glitchy and slow, and we didn't have wifi the last 3 days of our stay at all. And the TV signal is ridiculously poor. The pictures in the add do not reflect the furnishings at all. There is no couch or comfy chairs as in the pictures, instead there are wicker chairs, terribly uncomfortable, and a huge dinner table, not sure what the purpose is of that, considering there is only enough sleeping spots for at most 3 people. The bed on the main floor in the pictures is not there, nor the night stands or the dresser, so our suitcases served as closet/drawers. The sleep space in the loft is too cramped and too hot for two to use. There is a fold out futon in the main bedroom, not at all comfortable to sleep on. Because the staircase is narrow, flimsy (on the dangerous side) and poorly lit (and we are no spring chicken and one of us got injured on a bike trip) and the loft space is cramped, we ended up taking the mattress from the upstairs bed down to the main floor and slept on it, on the floor. The toilet is not attached to the floor properly and tilts if you are not careful. The bathroom towel racks are hanging by a thread, so we didn't use them at all. And the sink faucet is missing a spouttip. The dishwasher that has replaced the oven that is in the pictures, is rickety and poorly assembled. The lighting is sparse especially in the living dining room. And the lighting in the exhausthood over the stovetop was useless. We did get fresh linen halfway through out stay. And Francis was very courteous and made the beds for us. Overall we had a nice stay, mostly because of the location and the convenience of that. But certainly there was little incentive to use the apartment beyond getting some sleep and a shower. This is sad when with very little effort the apartment could be so much more!
