Apt. retreat near lake and 215' waterfall, peaceful, lovely gardens.

The apt was very clean and perfect for one or two. We enjoyed our stay.

Loretta and Steve have a fantastic place to stay. I hope to return to stay at the Eagles Nest. They were very friendly and the information in their guide in the apartment had lots of restaurants as well as information on Robert Moog, the former owner and synthesizer pioneer! I was sold as soon as I saw the Falls(truly breathtaking and awe inspiring go check it out!) the information about Robert Moog, and the 45min to 3hr drive from all the places I wanted to visit. I got to see Niagara Falls on the Canadian side!I learned how to make cases for wetplate pictures in Dundee at Camp Tintype with John Coffer. If you want to learn how to make tintypes or ambrotypes, he's a modern pioneer and has taught many people, check him out!

The property was conveniently located next to a handful of parks, hiking trails, wineries, etc. which made it easy to get around. The upstairs unit was private and had all the amenities needed to make for a cozy stay. We do wish the living room had a larger/more comfortable couch to enjoy after a long day of hiking, but wasn’t a big deal. Loretta and Steve were very accommodating and took great care of the property. We would love to come back the next time we visit.

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful setting and gardens. Quiet area, plenty dark for nighttime star-gazing. Close to the area parks. Trumansburg a cute little town. Convenient to Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake attractions.

Excellent location, clean ,very quiet ,bed very comfortable,large shower,well stocked kitchen everything we needed for meals,only negative were the living room chairs were kind of hard , but then again we are in our seventies!

Very easy to communicate with owners and place was clean and as described. I didn't get to explore area much but it looked to be in a gorgeous area and grounds were nicely maintained.

The apartment had everything we needed and was cozy after a long day of hiking or kayaking and swimming or visiting wineries. We could walk to trails in a State Park and it was a quick drive to several more hiking spots and Ithaca. Super nice hosts and simple in and out.

Bed very comfortable. Apartment well stocked. Outside stairs could be difficult for some. Couch not very comfortable for two adults but we were not home much!!

We were so grateful for this apartment when our camping plans had to change last minute due to the heat. The apartment was cute and the perfect size for the two of us. Air conditioning worked great and was much needed while we were there. Apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. My only small complaint was the size of the living room furniture. It made it a bit uncomfortable to hang out. But we were so busy exploring the area that it wasn't too big of a deal. So many things to see and do in the Finger Lakes and this property made a great home base.

This location was perfect for day trips around the area! We filled five days with activities around Watkins Glen, Seneca Falls, Taughannock and Trumansburg, and Ithaca. The waterfalls were fantastic! Check out the state parks! The Eagles' Nest apartment was perfect for us to have a peaceful environment to come home to. We had everything we needed. We saw birds, a deer, a groundhog, and chipmunks enjoying the gardens outside the den window. Loretta and Steve were gracious hosts who communicated very well. We highly recommend staying here.

Great location - close proximity to state park, the falls and Trumansburg. The living space is perfect for two people.

Ver park like setting with an abundance of birds and birdsong, Very pretty garden and easy access to Taughannock Falls State Park. The apartment is perfect for two people and has everything you need.

It's a nice little place for a weekend getaway. The bed was not very comfortable and there really isn't a couch in the living room to relax on but it's very close to the national park which has some beautiful waterfalls! There were some cute restaurants in town as well

Property is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Great location and easy to get to beautiful hikes in the Taughannock State Park. Trumansburg is a fun town. We had dinner at Atlas Bowl, would highly recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in the Ithaca / Watkins Glen area. This cozy & comfortable apartment was a great home base for our excursions. Everything we needed for a home away from home. Easy access to parks / hiking that provided amazing views. A spectacular experience!

Our stay at this apartment couldn't have been nicer! The owner supplied so much more than they needed to and it was very comfortable and beautiful with lovely gardens. So close to the big waterfall. ❤️☺️

Nice little apartment between Watkins Glen and Ithaca. Communication with host was superb. Our travel plans changed at the last minute and we were able to check in a day early. We had everything we needed. Uncomfortable seating in living room area and mattress sagged in the middle.

This was a great small apartment equipped with everything you need! Location was perfect to visit a lot of wineries and Watkins Glen. Beautiful property and the hosts were very nice and accessible. Would definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t mind the steps. They were not a problem for us😃

Great place to come back to after visiting all the vineyards. We were able to walk from the property to Taughanock Falls, if you like hiking it’s definitely worth it. Loretta had great communication with us and the property is very well taken care of

Quiet location, beautiful setting, close to state park with hiking /waterfall and swimming, kayak rental on Cayuga lake ($9 to park for both falls and lake access). Can easily bike to the black diamond bike trail. Restaurants, ice cream, supermarket very close in Trumansburg. Ithaca about 15-20 minute easy drive.

Very cozy place with a comfortable bed and everything you would need. Great location there for touring the fingerlakes.

The property was perfect for our needs. It was well maintained and very clean. We had a car trailer that needed a large driveway to pull in with ease. My husband also felt very secure that his car and trailer were safe on the property. We were able to tour the various waterfalls and parks in the area. It was very relacing.

Comfortable and well appointed upstairs apartment, in a quiet but accessible Cayuga Lake neighborhhood!!!
