APPARTAMENTO TORALDO - in the heart of the historic town center

Amazing property, perfectly located.

This apartment was absolutely amazing. Fully stocked with everything you need, ample coffee, paper towels, plates, cups, a beach umbrella and even a beach float. This unit is nice and large and includes a great living area to be able to lounge and relax after a day in the sun before heading out for dinner. This is an old palace that has converted this area into an apartment, it’s very cool and the owner, Bernardo, was awesome. You will not find a better host from the speedy communication to all the great suggestions in and around Tropea. Bernardo set up parking for us while staying in Tropea, as parking is very hard to find, and he even helped us by having a taxi waiting for us after we parked to take us to the unit. Please note this unit is in the ZTL restricted area, so u will need to walk a bit with luggage to get to the unit or take a taxi to get closer to the door. You cannot drive in the ZTL restricted area. However if you arrive during the day, you can get pretty close with your car, drop off luggage and then take your car to the parkade.

Bernardo’s apartment is right in the heart of Tropea, easily accessible to many of the restaurants, shops, and beaches. It’s a beautiful apartment and much bigger than I had thought from viewing the listing. It was perfect for my wife and I with our three girls. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tropea!

Great apartment! We're a family of four and stayed six (6) nights. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, and with all the necessary amenities. Location is extremely convenient: right in the heart of Tropea's historic center, within steps from cafe's, restaurants, shops, mini-markets, and a short walk down to the beautiful beach. Bernardo is a perfect host. Easy to reach and very responsive. He assisted us with the check-in and also to arrange parking for the duration of our stay. Grazie, Bernardo! I would stay here again if we ever return to Tropea.

Bernardo was very responsive, accommodating and pleasant. Accommodations were as advertised. Location was great. Not noisy for sleeping. Beds were ok. Overall a positive experience.

Bernardo's VRBO was a great stay in Tropea. The location was convenient in town, the accommodation was exactly as pictured/described in the listing and was comfortable and met our needs. Bernardo and Cristina were great hosts: helped us arrange parking, flexible with check-in/check-out, communicated clearly in advance. We would stay here again and highly recommend to others.

What’s not to love about Tropea? Our accommodations were located in the best possible place to stay in this ancient city. Convenient to absolutely everything including the train to other destinations. We made this quaint two bedroom apartment our home base for three weeks and we traveled from there around Calabria and to Sicily. Bernardo was always available when we needed him and he speaks perfect English which can really come in handly

The location is fantastic right in the centre. The place in one of the most comfortable we stayed at. Its roomy and clean, could comfortably stay for a few weeks. Well set up with 2 airconditioners.

It sufficiently took care of all our needs for the 4 of us. Property owner or manager took care of our parking needs as we were right in the center of all the stores and great restaurants.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Bernardo was an excellent host, with great communication and awesome recommendations on restraunts in town. Bernardo also arranged for his friend to pick us up from the train station and drop us at the apartment. The location is great, you are right in the heart of town and a 5minute walk to the beach. The apartment is well equipped with kitchen appliances and staples for cooking. Do yourself a favour and book this for when you next visit Tropea!

What a terrific time had in this amazing place. Fantastic location in the heart of all the action, gorgeous provincial fixtures and furnishings creating a comfortable and homely ambiance. Fantastic kitchen comfortable bedding and efficient bathroom, all you need plus more!

This was one of our favourite places we have stayed. The apartment is amazing with everything you need. You can’t beat the location - a few minute walk to the stairs to the beach. A lively location where we stayed out late and enjoyed eating later in the evening. The hosts were so accommodating to check-in and met us ( and also came when we locked ourselves out -oops!) the smell of the Jasmine flowers at the window was so lovely. You’ll fully enjoy your stay here and get a taste of Tropea living.
