Appartamento Circle house s. Filomena

Let me begin by saying Cetti is an absolutely wonderful host - she was very helpful with recommendations for dining, wine bars etc. And was very receptive / responsive to a few issues we had. The listing as presented is very accurate, however there are some details that are not contained that should be. 1) Via Santa Filomena is a hot spot of restaurants and nightlife so much so the party goes on well into the night every night until 1-2am. The bed rooms all face a street so it is very loud to the point on not being able to sleep especially if there is a celebration and the fireworks begin. 2) There is only one bed room with A/C - fortunately we only needed one so it was not an issue for us but something to be aware of if you are traveling with more than a couple 3) There were no personal soap products, e.g. shampoo, body wash etc. There was only a single bar of soap for two bath rooms. There was however both dish and laundry detergent. 4) The unit could have been a bit cleaner - there were a number of dead bugs on flat surfaces and in bathrooms 5) The unit is said to be non-smoking, however there was a hit of a smoke smell and a full ash tray on one of the balconies. The location is very close to the main market and many shops and restaurants -- nothing more than a 20 minute walk which is fantastic, you really don't need a car if staying in the city and taxi's were easy to get. If you're a night owl I would highly recommend this unit as it was spacious and well located.
