Apartment Sunniva by LovelyStay

The apartment is very modern and spacious and in the center of Funchal. Walkingdistans to all the interesting places. Two nice bedroom with exellent beds and two big bathroom. Some noise from the street daytime, but during the night we did'nt had any problem. The equipment in the kitchen is not the best. For making just a breakfast it's not any problem. Two coffe machines, toaster makes it easy. But if you, like us, do like to cook ther will be some difficulties. Only two coocingpans and poor whith kitchenware. But the kitchen is moderna and nice.

Nice, bright, sunny apartment in a central location next to the La Vie shopping centre and it is handily situated above the Pingo Doce supermarket for all your essentials. It is also just a few minutes stroll to the marina and near to some nice bars and restaurants. It was well equipped with cooker, microwave, coffee machine, washer etc but a little short on cooking utensils for anyone there on a longer stay and wishing to cater in, rather than use the local restaurants every day. The bed in the ‘sunny’ bedroom is comfortable and large and there is plenty of hot water. Linen was changed weekly whilst we were there and the cleaning was efficient and quite good. The apartment did suffer from road noise, especially early morning. If the double glazing was a better fit it would cut out much of the noise. Whilst we were staying the other apartments on the same floor were undergoing refurbishment so there was some disturbance due to building/construction noise but thankfully we were out most of the day and only experienced the drilling for an hour or so when we got back. It was a nice place to stay and I would book this apartment again.

Central location, comfortable mattresses, good value for money. Sometimes elevators did not work properly.

Lovely apartment in good location for transport restaurants etc, however a little noisy as it faces onto a main road. Property manager sent plenty of e-mails but was a little slow to respond to my questions and we had to phone twice to be met at the apartment. However very friendly and welcoming when they did arrive

Location really is perfect if you have to be right in Funchal, which we did. Also very handy to have a supermarket on the lower level of the block

A limpeza, as comodidades, a localização mesmo em cima do centro comercial onde podíamos facilmente aceder ao supermercado sem termos que sair do prédio e também o facto de ter estacionamento coberto e privado. A insonorização nos quartos pois ouve-se tudo como se as janelas estivessem abertas. A partir das 8h da manhã foi impossível dormir devido ao barulho das pessoas e do trânsito.

We appreciated the general spaciousness of this apartment. It is well appointed and furnished, with luxury fittings as well as generous toiletry provisions. Its location is very convenient, with a large supermarket in the shopping complex below the apartment. Numerous great restaurants and bars complete the perfect location. OK, the traffic could be noisy, but this is inevitable in the centre of the city. The managing agent dealt promptly and courteously with a couple of maintenance issues.
