Apartment in the center of Assisi - large rooftop terrace and fabulous views

This apartment in Assisi is absolutely lovely! It exceeded our expections for space, location and view. Being farther away from the main squares made this a quiet space but easy to access everything that the beautiful city has to offer. Laura was the perfect host with information on the area, restaurants and attractions andand made it all very easy to enjoy ourselves immensely. We highly recommend this and will definitely return! We absolutely loved our stay at Laura's Assisi apartment. The apartment was roomy and included all the things we would need from home. Laura was very responsive to any questions we had. We appreciated the parking she provided. The locations was excellent. We easily walked everywhere. We also found this to be a perfect location as our home base for a number of day trips to nearby places such as Orvieto, Loreto, Sienna and Perugia. We were sad to leave after the week. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent 6 nights at Laura's apartment. On arrival, we were met by Laura's associate Paola, who gave us the keys and a quick tour. As others have noted, the apartment is quite spacious and comfortable.I can't speak to the kitchen facilities as we did not cook. We did take advantage of the microwave. The weather was mostly sunny and warm while we were there so we were able to take advantage of the large deck. Also, the large windows allowed for lots of natural light in the living spaces. The location is very convenient. A short walk to Piazza Matteotti and the bus and a short downhill walk to the center. We had one occasion to contact Laura. The wifi wasn't working when we arrived. I used Google Translate to explain the problem and Laura came and got it up and running. The only minor issue for us was the water pressure in the shower was on the low side but that would not keep us from coming back. Overall, we had a great stay here.

The apartment is big and clean . Excellent location near Piazza Matteotti. Small market in the area. Nice terrace with view to Rocca Maggiore. It is in a very cute neighborhood.

Wonderful apartment on a beautiful, quiet street in Assisi. View from the terrace was incredible. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip.

Location is excellent: 5 minute walk to old city center plus being on a very small street makes for a very quiet location. The outdoor terrace is very special with views of both a cathedral & the castle/fortification. Many rentals have a balcony or terrace, but often you end up just looking at the crumbling stucco of the building across the street. This place has an exceptional view. The cost of the view: the apt. is on the 3rd floor, and their is no elevator. I would not recommend for two couples, but great for one couple or small family who can deal with 1 bathroom. House was well equipped. On-site garage is ONLY for a small car, e.g., Panda. But, there is a parking lot quite near by, and Laura provided us with a discount card that reduced the rate from 14E to 12E per day. Host: Laura is quite hands-off, so have limited expectations. Best to communicate by Google Translate & WhatsApp, as her English is very limited. Expect no notebook telling you how to operate all the appliances & systems & providing suggestions for restaurants or where to buy groceries, etc.; you are on your own once you walk through the door. We greatly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Assisi and would rent this place again

This was the second time we stayed in this apartment. We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Many very good restaurants just a few yards away. The view over the housetops from the large patio was great! Highly recommend for staying in Assisi!
