Stayed Feb 5, 2023This is a great apartment which is very well equipped. It has everything you need and more. The air conditioning also provides heating in the winter and it is ideally placed for grocery shopping, bars and restaurants. Two small additions would make it feel safer for elderly holiday makers, the addition of grab rails by the toilet and shower in the bathroom and a shower mat as the shower tray is very slippery. Very pleased to holiday here and will be back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The location regarding the distance to the beach and supermarket (spar) is great - just five minutes to the large beach and a minute from small one. We didn't have problems with communication via email but telephone was more problematic due to language barrier. The apartment was very clean, with totally renewed bathroom. There was a large fridge, microwave and kitchen appliances, however the cupboards in the kitchen were quite old. The big minus is the lack of a/c or a fan. It would be ok with the windows opened, but there is a really noisy pub just on the other side of the road, open till late, so you need to choose between going to sleep very late or in a hot room (earplugs helped a little). Just a simple fan would make a difference. Even though the apartment was really clean there were ants (not many though) and we found two cockroaches (however I believe it is a common thing in this part of Portugal), we also saw a few on the street. It would be nice to have some cleaning products (there was only a washing liquid next to the sink). Overall Luz is a beautiful place and the apartment is very nice but maybe better for a low season as it should be less noisy.
