Apartment in a residence with swimming pool overlooking the sea useful for families with children

We had a lovely vacation for six nights in this appartment. Two adults and three children. We all loved the pool area that has a very relaxed and allowing atmosphere for three children who loves to play in the water. The appartment had everything we needed and the hosts were very welcoming. We walked everyday along lungomare to the old town and the beaches close to it, 2 km but ok for us that are all used to walk, we didn't need a car.

Absolutely first class!

We moved out after 2 days. The apartment was small and smelly. The kitchen was not equipped to cook in. Bathroom tiny. The area was noisy and not so nice.

Many Thanks to Claudio and his lovely family- we spent a wonderful 2 weeks in May in this very nice apartment. Not big, but well furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent- just a longer stroll from beach and centre of beautiful Cefalu. The apartment has a great patio with sea view (watching the sunset...!) is in a secure and well-kept apartment complex with a truly fabulous pool area. Thanks again - would love to visit again.

We were two adults and three children who visited the destination. The owners were very nice and helpful. The accommodation was quite ok. Not right by the pool which was nice to have it a bit private. The pool itself was great and it was never crowded with people. Calm and nice! The balcony grew on the sunset and without direct transparency. Everything you needed was there. Only minus were the beds that were not so comfortable. Walking distance to town but with small children in the longest team. However, there was no problem getting the car and park in the city. With children in need of a pool it is the perfect accommodation. I would highly recommend others to go there!

The appartment seemed small for five persons at arrival. But it worked fine, we used the yard for all meals. Well equiped kitchen that served 5. Nice and clean appartment. The walk to town and the beach took approx 30 minutes, it is a nice walk along the beach. Claudio and his son took well care of us at arrival and departure.

Accomodation; Overall nice, however the beds was very hard and squeaky. Shower doors were loose. AC/ cooler was mounted in the living room and not in the sleeping room. Some noise from apartment above. Surroundings: The main road into Cefalu was just outide the terrasse, noisy. Not able to see the sunset as in the pictures due to angle/ level of the terrasse. The pool area was very nice. The hosts, who lives in the apartment above, had limited English skills, but was very nice and helpful.

We had a great stay in this beautiful clean and safe apartment ! The friendliness and helpfulness of our host made it all the better ! He was always there if needed ! The view was amazing and loved the walk into town along the beach ! It was our third trip to cefalu and we would love to go back to this apartment ! We had no car but we felt the walk into town and home again was wonderful !! (a bit of a hill though for those who don't 'do' hills !) Our four young children loved this apartment too and there was plenty of space outside to play ! We would definately go back ! A special thanks to the lovely caretaker !

We really enjoyed our stay in Magabu. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed for a week. The complex was also very clean, felt secure and had a fantastic pool. There was a charming restaurant close by as well as a bar that you could stop at for breakfast and lunch. The beach was also very close which we found excellent for kids - snorkelling and swimming - a good mix of rocks and sand. Best of all was the atmosphere in Magabu - the owners were extremely welcoming with Mr Cipello enlisting the help of his children to translate. There were loads of children around of various ages who were also very welcoming, funny and interesting. They spenthours playing with our children which further enchanced their stay. If Cefalu, Sicily is your choice of destination then you can't really go wrong with this place. Thanks for a memorable holiday.
