Apartment/ flat - Biarritz The beach and town down the building, first line sea view

Superb in every way! Nicole is the perfect host. The apartment is beautiful & stylish, spacious & clean, extremely well-equipped and maintained, and perfectly located for everything you need in Biarritz, with the most stunning view over the Port Vieux Beach. The restorative effects of sitting on the balcony for breakfast or in the evening with a glass of wine in hand, watching the world go by, cannot be understated! We loved our stay, and would gladly come back to stay again. A wonderful experience!

Large, well equipped apartment overlooking port Vieux plage. Perfect location to explore Biarritz.

This apartment was a highlight on our trip. Located adjacent to Port Vieux beach with a stunning view of the beach, island, old town and sunset. Our lovely host greeted us personally and answered all our local questions including where to surf, eat and visit. Unique styled apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, patio overlooking Port Vieux, full kitchen, living room and laundry. Living in old town was the place to be, plenty of life, good food and sunshine. Dinner on the patio with stunning view. So close to the water and city. Highly recommend*****

A lovely well equipped property with fabulous view.Nicole was great to deal with.Plenty of eating places within easy walking distance.Apartment had very comfortable beds and great showers.If we revisit Biarritz we would try to book with Nicole again

Amazing location, well equipped flat.

This place is just what the view pictures show; right on a cute beach, walking to shops and groceries. It is a great location. However, the apt was missing some key items: Soap in one bathroom, shower gel, spare toilet paper, knives that could be used for actual cooking (or slicing bread), plastic wrap. Would be nice to have beach towels provided, although the beach mats were a nice touch. Nicole was very nice and welcoming; however you have to arrive at the appointed meeting time--despite when you might arrive via train or bus. So we had to hang out in town with our baggage for a couple of hours.

Great location. Beach right in front of apartment. Very big tide swing at beach, No waves low tide, small ones at high tide. There is charge for linens so keep in mind. Owner very nice. Would stay again. Can walk to other beaches if you want.

We were two couples and the accommodation was perfect - two double bedrooms and two well-equipped shower rooms. The living area was spacious and very attractively furnished, with lovely views over the sea and the beach. The kitchen was fully fitted with good quality china, cutlery and cooking appliances. Altogether an excellent holiday rental and within easy reach of sights, shops, restaurants and bars.

I will describe things one by one. 1. Location The apartment is situated extremely well right next to the beach of Port vieux. This beach in my opinion, is much better than the Grand Plage for families and couples, it is smaller, much less noisy and the waves are calmer than the Grand Plage. View of the sea front reception room and balcony is gorgeous. 10min walk to local market and Carrefour, 5min walk to main shopping area with Galerie Lafayette. Great location. The only downside is the music that plays from the bar on the beach from 9pm to after midnight on most days, it wont be a problem if you go to bed late, but if like me, you are in bed at 11-12pm the latest, then it is annoying and you have to close all the windows and balcony to hear it less and then the room becomes a bit stuffy. 2. apartment Very stylish, with lots of nice touches and decorations that are pleasant to the eye. Would be ideal for four people (eg two couples). New kitchen and showers, everything high standard. Very pleased. We were welcomed very well, and all our questions were answered. Thank you for taking care of us. If I were to come to Biarritz again, I would stay here again as I think it is a great location and apartment (will have to put up with the evening noise from the beach bar but i guess it is unavoidable if you want to live close to centre of city and on the beach) and I wouldnt find better, unless I become a millionaire and can afford the Hotel du Palais :)

My friend and I rented the apartment for 5 days in mid-September. The location and view were fabulous. From the lving room and small balcony we had an ocean view. The apartemnt was quiet (no street noise with closed windows at night), tastefully decorated, modern and apparently newly renovated. The city of Biarritz is small but has some beautiful beaches for surfing and shoreline for walking. There is a small art museum, a few excellent restaurants, in the downtown area, which is within a few moments walking distance of the apartment. We spent one day in Bibao at the Guggenheim Museum which is approximately an hiour and half away by car, and it was well worth the trip. I would recommend this charming apartment.
