Stayed Jun 11, 2025The accommodations were very nice, clean and spacious as depicted. The pictures do make it appear that it is closer to the lake than it actually is. In reality, it’s about a 1/2 mile away, so not horrible. The check in instructions were quite detailed and informative…once we received them. In our case, it was an hour AFTER our check in time! As per the property management’s last communication with us, we were supposed to receive a link for an online check in on June 4. They ended up sending it to us on June 10th. Unfortunately we were traveling from the US to Italy that day and did not see that it was in our junk mail. Upon arriving in Italy on the day of our check-in, we tried several different times to call, email, and WhatsApp the property management team to get info to access the property to no avail. No one would ever answer their direct line. We also spent several hours on the phone with VRBO as well. VRBO also tried contacting the property management, also without any luck. It got to the point where VRBO was in the process of trying to set us up at a different property, when the Property Management team finally contacted us instructing us to fill out their online check-in process. After we did that, it took an additional 45 minutes to receive the actual check-in information. It was definitely a stressful way to start a trip and one that could’ve easily been avoided by better and more timely communication by the property management team.
