170m2 apartment in a beautiful granite building facing the Propriano marina.
Beaches, all shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Third and last floor without elevator. Spacious staircase of 70 steps. We would like to point out that the spectacular view therefore requires having physical condition to climb these 70 steps without a lift.
Magnificent view of the port and the Gulf of Valinco from 5 front windows with balcony.
Nice height under ceiling (3,2m).

The entrance gives access to the rooms overlooking the port:
- Large living / dining room of 70 m2 with 3 French doors to balcony and sea view.
- Large separate kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, table.
- 2 bedrooms with double beds on either side of the living room with also French doors to balcony. One of them has a bathroom with shower and toilet (also directly accessible by second door.

A corridor gives access to:
- 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, one of them has a balcony.
- 1 separate toilet
- 1 washing machine room
- 1 large bathroom with bath, toilet and bidet. Has a balcony with clothes lines.

The apartment is furnished, equipped and decorated for us and you will enjoy an apartment like yours.

We are particularly demanding on the calm so as not to disturb the neighbors, the cleanliness and the ban on smoking.

However, we would like to point out that for a few weeks in July and August, the Napoleon bar located near the apartment does 2 evenings a week until 1:30 a.m. Despite the double glazing and the situation on the 3rd floor, some tenants told us that they were disturbed by these evenings. It's the downside to being on Propriano's most central avenue.

Many activities within walking distance:
- Beaches: 500 m from the Lido beach (supervised) and Arena Bianca (more open)
- Bars and restaurants on the harbor
- All shops within walking distance
- All nautical activities depart from the port just in front of the building: sea trips, boat or jet ski rentals, sailing and windsurfing school, kayak rentals, parasailing, water skiing
- Possibility of passing a boat license to explore by sea the very cut coast of the Gulf of Valinco, or the south coast towards Bonifacio or North towards Ajaccio
- Numerous excursions to the mountains, passing through Zonza, Quenza, Bavella, the Coscionu plateau and the Ospedale forest for mountain hikes, swimming and canyoning in rivers, basins and waterfalls, and for races at the racetrack on Sundays in August

Nearby towns and villages to visit:
- Sartène in the mountains for its old town and its market (10 min)
- Campo Moro (15 min) for its protected bay which makes it a natural anchorage, its Genoese tower,
- Saint Lucia of Tallano for its olive trees (15 min),
- Porto Pollo, on the other side of the gulf (20 min)
- Bonifacio for its old town, its citadel and its sea trips at the foot of the cliff
- Porto Vecchio for ... shopping, the largest open-air nightclub in the region, its beaches and traffic jams

    We stayed in Patrick's apartment for a glorious week in September. The apartment immediately became a big part of our holiday, being a great space to dine and spend time gazing out over the bay. It had everything you would expect and a few things extra. We cooked a few meals at the apartment but having restaurants on Avenue Napoleon III below was too much a temptation and we did eat out a lot. You can spend a day or 2 wondering around Propriano, and it was a good base to return to each evening. We found 2 beach areas in Propriano and we preferred the quieter beaches to the west near Le Lido. L'Oasis bar on the beach did good cocktails. We recommend mussels at 'U Valincu', outside at 'A Cantaria' and 'Tempa Fa' for charcuterie & wine recommendations. You must try the ice cream from La Marine under the apartment. A great little local supermarket was 'LS Du Port' on corner of Ave Napolean III and Rue Des Pucheurs. You hear the background hustle and bustle distantly below you during the day. I have to say I was concerned it might be noisy late at night, but really it was OK and we slept well. Considering our convenient location and view over the bay, it was nothing. I had a few questions for the owner over our stay and he did respond quite quickly. However, it was the kind of thing you might expect to see in a guidebook in the apartment (there was none we could find) such as where do we empty our bins (behind the building on Quartier Grosseti) and best places to park a car (Quartier Grosseti or Rue Jean Pandolfi). Perhaps also some local tourism information leaflets. As it says in the description, the apartment is on the 3rd floor (71 steps) without a lift, so not recommended if you have mobility problems. The stairway was being refurbished during our stay and we had a couple of mornings woken (not too early) to the floor tiles being removed, and later new tiles going down. The workmen were considerate though and I am sure it will look good when it is finished. We loved our first trip to Corsica and would like to explore more of the island, but if we did come back to this part of the island again, we would definately stay at this apartment. It is as good as the pictures.
