Ancient viewes of Cagliari

We were welcomed with juice and cookies! Anna Lucia was the most incredibly welcoming host. The apartment was amazing. The view from the terrace was unforgettable. You are close to everything Caligari has to offer.Simply the best!

Fantastic apartment in fantastic central location. From the first communications with Anna she always kept us informed of everything we needed to know about the place and where to park etc. the apartment is super clean and is thoughtfully decorated in true Sardinian style. The terrace is a perfect place to eat breakfast lunch and dinner! We totally enjoyed everything about the apartment and it’s perfect location to explore all around the city. You can park for free just above near the hospital and then explore everything on foot. Perfect! Anna’s hospitality is overwhelming - such a generous beautiful lady. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

Wonderful stay in Cagliari! Anna is an exceptional host, greeting us with a drink and cake upon arrival. She thoughtfully provided coffe in the morning, fruit, Sardinian cakes, wine, and beer in the apartment. The place was spotless and well-appointed. The terrace offered stunning views over the old city. The location made it easy to walk to all the main attractions in the city, with a convenient bus ride to the beach. Anna was incredibly helpful, providing recommendations for restaurants and bus routes. **Please note that the stairs to the apartment are very steep, and there are also stairs leading to the parking lot. If you or someone in your party has difficulty with stairs, this accommodation may not be suitable. Additionally, it is quite difficult to reach the main entrance by car. It is better to drive directly to the parking lot (ask for the parking lot address) and then go down the stairs with your luggage.

Wonderful stay in Cagliari. Anna was a great host welcoming us with a drink & cake. She also left fruit, Sardinian cakes, wine & beer in the apartment for us. The apartment was clean & well equipped. Amazing views from the terrace. Even in mid-April we had our breakfast on the terrace every morning. Easy to walk to all the main sites in the city & a bus ride to the beach. Anna was so helpful telling us about restaurants & bus routes etc. She even phoned a taxi company for us to arrange taxi back to the airport. Quite a few stairs up to the apartment, but it’s worth it!

This was a great little flat with fine views over the town and harbour. Anna was very keen to meet and talk which was slightly difficult as our Italian is limited, nevertheless with the help of google we managed it. The flat is only really suitable for two people and the stairs would be tricky for anyone not too fit. Taxis refused to come to the exact destination as the road is so narrow so a bit of walking with bags was necessary. We enjoyed the whole experience...a bit different in a city centre location. Some great restaurants all within walking ditance.

I really enjoyed staying at the apartment for 3 nights in June. The location is perfect to walk everywhere. There is unlimited food options and great grocery stores nearby. The view off the terrace is really pretty in the afternoon looking at the castle walls. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a nice meal. I was greeted with some nice wine, cookies, and fruit to enjoy which was a nice touch. The A/C works very well to keep you cool if it is too hot to open the windows outside. Lastly, Anna was fantastic!

The Terrace was beautiful in the apartment, fabulous views of the city and sea. Lots of steps which in the heat was not easy.

The balcony in this apartment is just lovely. The view and the size made for a super comfortable stay during the spring when it was not too cold or too hot. Of note, the shower is very tiny and when you have the fold out couch open it is very very tight to squeeze past. Anna was a warm, thoughtful host who communicated promptly by WhatsApp (responding in Italian to my English texts) and the only hiccup was when she mentioned a separate charge for electricity which I did not see mentioned on the VRBO listing. We ended up not having to pay anything extra fees and after clearing up that confusion we would love to stay here again on our next trip to Cagliari.

The property is very clean and near all of the best shopping in the city. Anna is such a gracious host and thanks to our iphones we were were running our translators hot and learned so much about the culture and the Sardinian's passion for their heritage. The Sardinian countryside is pristeen, the coastline amazing. Barumini, Nora and the coastal road to Villasimius all a short drive away. The city is hilly so bring some good shoes and be prepared for exercise. Thanks to Anna we will never forget our lovely visit here.
