Amazing beach waterfront holiday apartment with ocean view and swimming pool

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious appartment right on the seafront. Fantastic views from the balcony, very chilled and relaxing. Great location for walking to Funchal or Camara do Lobos, but you need to be fit to walk up the steps or hill. Taxis and buses readily available and buses on time. Lots to do on this lovely island. Would highly recommend and stay here again, thankyou.

We had 6 weeks here in Jan/Feb 2025. Amazing balcony which afforded us super views every day, sunsets were lovely, two days of storms were just incredible, but the weather was mainly hot. The kitchen was perfect for me, a chef and I was able to use the incredible fresh food Madeira offers to gain 4lbs , if you use kilos you work it out. The furniture is a bit dated but then so are we and we were really comfortable. We have stayed in Madeira, hotels and apartments for twenty plus years. First time we felt seriously miserable to go home.Cleaners were fun and efficient.We loved the no fuss check in key safe.Booking it next year.There is always a bad side. The fire alarm sounded while we were there. My husband is deaf, not totally deaf he wears hearing aids and he did not hear the alarm. It seriously needs updating to one that sounds in every apartment.

The Atlantic Garden Apt was wonderful…any closer to the ocean you would be wet! The rooms were spacious & never felt congested with 4 adults. Roomy balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean with great flow of air into the apartment The large kitchen was well stocked with appliances & dishes. We loved having 2 seperate bathrooms for each couple. Bus stop very near & a boardwalk fronted the ocean that lead to a few eating places and eventually to the town of Funchal...made for great walks & the only flat place in town! A 5 star for everything EXCEPT the mattresses..much too firm/ hard…a foam topper would be a quick & easy solution. If ever visiting Madeira again, would love to stay at this place..even with a firm mattress!

Very good stay in a perfect spot, where you fall asleep at the sound of the sea waves.

We stayed in this unit for 6 weeks in March. We were very happy with the accommodation. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots and new frying pans. The beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing. It was about a 10 minute walk on the promenade and through the tunnel to catch #2 bus to Funchal. The bus to catch #1 up the hill was a bit more challenging. The hosts were quick to respond to 2 issues that were resolved quickly. I would highly recommend this unit.

A good month’s holiday overall. With a superb beach front location the apartment is spacious with a well equipped kitchen area. However we did have a problem with the initial cleanliness & maid service. Also the second bedroom desperately needs new mattresses & pillows ( I had to wash the pillows!) Also it would be good to update the description on the website as there isn’t a gym ( I was expecting to be able to use an exercise bike!) or a pool table as mentioned currently.

This apartment is exactly as described. It is a well equipped 2 bedroom condo right on Praia Formosa with beautiful sunsets. The beachfront boardwalk allows you to walk either to Funchal or Camara dos Lobos, with many restaurants nearby. Sandra, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. We would choose this place again, and highly recommend it to others.

What a lovely homebase for our hiking adventures! The manager was very good at getting back to us. Used kitchen, swimming pool and balcony often. Ceiling fans over beds would be appreciated on hot nights!
