Alpine Escape - Apartment Suite in North Tahoe

This place was everything we needed it to be. It was perfect for the 2 of us and we loved that it had a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every night. The bed was very comfortable. It was a bit hot during the day (no AC), but cooled off at night with the overhead fans and the windows open. We weren’t around during the day, so that didn’t bother us at all. It’s about 10 min to downtown Truckee, and an easy drive. We would definitely stay here again!

Wow, we were blown away by this property - the perfect setting, great information provided by the hosts, very clean and well-appointed - just lovely in every way - we even had a bear strolling across the front one night, fortunately on the drive below, with no danger to us or him!!

Erika is an amazing host and her apartment is perfect! It was very clean, all appliances work as they should. There is a fun sledding hill just few minutes away from the house and we even walked through knee deep snow to Glenshire pizza for dinner one night. Bring snowshoes :) Both Erika and Alex were exceptionally helpful when we needed something, like help getting unstuck during heave snowfall or figuring out the accommodation for an extra night when I80 closed for travel. I wanted to keep this place as our little secret but the world deserves to know about this little gem of a place to stay in Truckee. Thank you Erika and Alex! We hope to be back!

This was a perfect little single unit that was close to a ton of great fishing. Made it an easy spot to call home base for the weekend.

This spot was perfect for a work trip to the area- the unit was very clean and well equipped (super cozy memory foam mattress!) and having a washer/dryer was super convenient. The location was lovely to feel secluded but it was a short drive to downtown. I would definitely stay here again!

Unit is over the garage but feels more like part of the main house, with a common indoor foyer. It is at the same time private and well separated. All the furnishings are good quality and thoughtful. The kitchen had everything needed, even for a longer stay. The distance from town and the relatively busy street for such a quiet neighborhood were the only negatives.
