Alibei 1 - Habitat Apartments

We greatly appreciated the location of the property, the proximity to metro and bus, walking distance to the majestic Arc del Triomf, Place Catalunya and grocery stores. Security was great, even though the app used to enter the bldg and apartment was a bit slow sometimes. Our only real issue with the property was the lack of hot water, for 3 couples to be sharing the residence this was a problem. We raised the concern several times and attempts were made to address it, but we lived with camping conditions during our stay.

This is a fantastic apartment in a really great location! Many of the local attractions were within walking distance, and cabs were easily accessible for longer trips. The door access requires a phone app, which wasn’t super convenient, but definitely worked. The furniture is a little worn, and the mattresses could be replaced. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and it was really convenient to have a washing machine. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

Great location and spacious. However, there were cracks in the kitchen tiles, and while clean, the apartment was tired. The size of the towels were small and thin. From the pictures, my impression was that it was an upscale unit, and this was not the case. Fi ally, if you are going to provide codfee pods, make sure there are enough for the number of beds you are advertising otherwise it just seems cheap.

This could be a great place. Unfortunately, the pictures are WAY better than the actual apartment. Self check-in didn't work and without s/o letting us in, we would have been on the street all night. Once in the apartment, while spacious, is in bad condition. It feels very lived in. Not super clean, it feels like it's been rented out for a semester abroad for the past year. Loved the location, loved the sun room, but it was a shame the condition of the place. The apartment is managed by a corporation and it feels like it. When we were locked out of the building at 11:30 at night b/c the front door didn't work, we had no way to contact anyone. They never provided the emergency number. I wouldn't rent again.

This property is located by an easy walk to the Arc d Triomf, Las Ramblas, Bus Station and numerous shops and restaurants. Great spot!!

Awesome location and wonderful apartment!

A great location that is accessible to all the major attractions. The apartment is roomy and well equipped. The bedrooms have a lot if storage space The master bedroom bed is comfortable however the other two bedrooms could use an update since the beds are manageable but not comfortable for a longer stay. Also suited to families with younger chidren versus all adults as we were. It was great having 2 bathrooms, howver the 2nd bathroom's shower is very small and narrow and would not work for a larger adult. The lights went out one night and the neighbors had to help as reaching the management is very challenging. We had to wait outside with our luggage for some time when we checked in. We called and kept getting he's on his way when the manager was actually in the building. A maintenance person saw us on the sidewalk and called the property manager who wanted to collect payment, hand over keys and get on with his day. The kettle didn't work so we used pots to boil water for tea which was minor. We didn't spend a lot of time indoors so this was adequate. Overall, this apartment suited our needs and the major benefit is the location.

This rental was perfect for us, located just a couple of blocks from the Arc de Triomf and a 10-15 minute walk to El Born where we had great meals at Elsa y Fred, Bar del Pla and others. While we mostly walked, there was a metro stop a block away and taxis cruised the area constantly. The apartment was clean, well equipped and quite comfortable. We had two couples (plus a third couple for a few nights) and everybody enjoyed the rental tremendously. The Santa Caterina Market is great, and it’s close by for picking up cheese, ham and fruit, and while La Boqueria over on La Rambla is much bigger, it’s generally full of tourists with selfie sticks - not shoppers looking for dinner. We took in a performance at Palau de la Música one night, again just a short walk. Another plus - there is a small Super Mercat right across the street with a big stock of cold Cavas! All in all, this was a great place for us to stay and I highly recommend the apartment!

We had a very enjoyable stay in this roomy, well equipped apartment. Located in an attractive neighbourhood near the Arc d’Triomf, it was very close to bus and metro services, restaurants, supermarkets and other shops. Renata provided a very helpful check in experience.
