Brilliant welcome

The apartment is spectacular: recently renovated, beautiful architecture with a cathedral high wooden ceiling, large size rooms and easy-to-use appliances. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. The living room has a great audio-video setup. The place is very clean and everything is in good working order. There is ample parking and a glorious garden equipped with an outdoor shower to get rid of the beach sand. There is a beautiful view from the living room and balcony of the beach and park. The host and their 2 dogs are amazingly welcoming. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our hosts were fantastic. Cheron and Walwen made themselves available for anything that we needed. They provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Having such gracious host made this trip even better. The location was also very nice. We were on the more residential side of the island, but we loved it. You could see the beach from the balcony which was great to enjoy every morning with a cup of coffee or in the evenings with a glass of Cheron’s delicious rum punch. There is a bus right down the street that took us anywhere we could’ve wanted to go and it felt like we got a better experience than we would have at any type of resort on the other side of the island. My group will definitely be back and this is where we will stay!

Beautiful clean comfortable property with a view of the ocean and people kite surfing. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean and the nearby park with birds and green monkeys. Cheron gave us a warm welcome and her rum punch was the best on the island!

The owners are the best! They took such good care of us and they take such good care of their properties!

Charon was an excellent host. She is very helpful, accommodative and friendly. The environment was beautiful, clean and quite. I highly recommend this guest house.

Great 2 bedroom apartment with a great view of the water from the outside terrace.The beach is a wind surfing beach not inviting for swimming off the beach.Great host , very friendly and helpful. South end of the island, short cab rides or local bus transportation to restaurants and Bridgetown.

We had a great week in Barbados and Cheron was a fantastic host and offered many great suggestions on where to go and what to do. We will definitely stay at her super clean and well stocked apartment if we go back to Barbados.

Cheron was the most welcoming and cordial host. The home was spotless and everything imaginable was available. She made a fabulous meal for the four of us one evening. So much food we ate it a couple more times. There were beach chairs and towels available, and the location was directly across from the kite surfing beach. We thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee from the front deck.

The apartment is beautiful and it was very clean. I have a high standard of cleanliness and usually do my own cleaning when I first arrive at a property. There was nothing I needed to do there.The host, Cheron was amazing. She pretty much thought of everything and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed; she had asked us if there was anything she could get for us since the supermarket was closing early on our arrival day and the requested items were waiting for us when we arrived. She even brought up fresh eggs for us, and there was a pitcher of rum punch in the refrigerator for us as well as snacks and a full Black cake also known as Great cake. Cheron is a very pleasant person who strives successfully to ensure that her guests are comfortable.The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated and the view of the ocean and park was amazing. In terms of location, the neighborhood is a nice and safe residential area. However, I regretfully cannot give it a 10; you definitely need a car to get around (luckily we had one)and to go to the beach, which was about a 10 minute drive. The beach within a one minute walk, though beautiful, is not a beach where folks swim. However, you will see kite flying and surfing which was also peaceful to watch.I would highly recommend this property for its cleanliness, comfort, and amazing host, Cheron.

Our hosts were excellent. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Would suggest a non-slip mat for the shower.

My husband and I stayed at Coconut Walk Apartment for 10 days in September. We had a wonderful stay. We were welcomed warmly by the owner, Cheron. The apartment was spacious and clean. It was equipped with everything that we needed. The view of the ocean and the estuary was very relaxing and restful. The sound of the waves or the birds was wonderful! The local beach was too rough for most swimmers, but Miami Beach was a short drive away and beautiful. Oistins was also a short drive away and we were able to find excellent meals and a grocery. Cheron also prepared two meals for us, the Baked Chicken Dinner and the Traditional Bajan Sunday Lunch. Both were full of flavour and were beautifully presented. Cheron kept in touch with us over our stay and we would now consider her a friend. We will definitely visit again on our next visit!Thanks so much for making our Bajan Escape wonderful!

Amazing communication, amenities and location

It was amazing! I really enjoyed my stay and their hospitality was exceptional.

Our hosts, Cheron and Walwen, were the most accommodating and friendly people we’ve met! Their apartment was just as described and the area was so peaceful. Cheron fixed us some delicious food, great rum punch, helped us find a nice rental car and pointed us in the right directions for fun. We would definitely go back and we recommend this rental for your next getaway.

This property is a true gem. Cheron, the property owner, was communicative and made herself available throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is clean and well appointed. It's a bit off the beaten path, so a car is necessary. But it's a perfect little sanctuary with incredible views.

Our stay at this beachfront apartment in Barbados was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, the space was clean and comfortable, and every detailed made us feel right at home. It is a beautifully presented apartment with two large bedrooms, and the fittings are all first class !Only 2 minutes walk to the beach to watch the kite surfing and a 3/4 minute walk to take the bus into Oistins or Bridgetown….. Cheron will also make you delicious food to order which you can eat on the terrace overlooking the nature reserve and beach . Our host Cheron truly understands the essence of hospitality. Although we stayed for just one night, she ensured that we had everything we could possibly need, even going so far as to bring us groceries for breakfast. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is perfectly equipped for an extended stay, featuring all the modern conveniences one could desire. We stayed at Cheron and Walwens place for 9 days during our honeymoon. It was the best experience we have ever had at a VRBO. Communication and check in with Cheron was easy. The place was immaculate, comfortable and right across the street from the beach. Cheron welcomed us with delicious rum punch and fresh cut plants from her beautiful garden. Cheron kept in touch the entire time and would routinely update us on WhatsApp where to go during the day and also places to park if going into town. As others have mentioned it’s a bit outside the touristy areas but we actually enjoyed that aspect. We rented a car and had no problem getting to any of the activities we had planned and it was nice to come home to a quiet place outside the hustle and bustle. We are already missing drinking coffee on the balcony and watching the sunrise over the ocean. We can’t wait to come back!

From the first moment of booking the beautiful apartment, they made us feel like we are family and not clients! Up until this holiday my wife and I always played safe and went into a resort, we decided to try something different in beautiful Barbados and we found Coconut walk apartment. The apartment is wonderful and more than worthy of any 5 stars, the location is in a very beautiful and quiet part of Barbados with a beautiful beach just metres from your front door. Im not sure i can articulate many words to describe how wonderful Cheron and Walwen, your every need is catered for, if you have a problem, they go out of their way to help solve it. Their aim is to make sure you have an experience of a life time, and believe me, that is what you have. Thank you Cheron and thank you Walwen for making our stay with you the best experience we have had yet on an overseas holiday! We will be back and back again after that, this we promise as we have now found our paradise!

Beautiful clean and well-equipped, luxurious apartment on top level of the house in the wonderful location of Silver Sands, close to the town of Oistins. Large bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a very large wardrobe with plenty of hanging room as well as drawers. Bathroom has great shower. Amazing view of the ocean (only about 150 feet away ) from the bedroom and living room windows and from the spacious balcony with table and chairs. The hostess, Cheron was amazing! On top of being warm, friendly, and helpful, she had thought of everything and more. She went above and beyond, to ensure we had the most enjoyable and memorable 15th Wedding anniversary, by arranging lots of extra fun surprises when we went to restaurants and other events recommended by her! We have been to many VRBO’s during the last few years and this has been our best experience by far, due to all her personal touches! We will definitely be returning in the near future! We would highly recommend this vacation experience!
