Stayed Oct 23, 2025First of all, the description of Marco Dani‘s lovely abode was completely accurate. It is cozy, clean, and made our stay quite comfortable. It is in an older part of Florence that provided an extra view into the culture, which was just what we were looking for. Marco met us when we arrived, and then we met with him before we left and feel that we have made a new friend. He was available to answer questions, give us tips about shopping and riding the bus, plus he helped me with phrases in Italian that proved to be very useful. Additionally, we met his lovely neighbor, which also helped us to feel right at home. In future trips to Italy, we will connect with Marco again!

Stayed Jun 7, 2025We loved staying at Marco's place. He met us personally to get us settled in and oriented. His place is charming and nice. I, personally, LOVED having a playable piano to tinker with during my travels. It's very easy to get around via the city buses. The place is a quick walk to several major bus routes that take you to the heart of the city or to the train station making transportation an almost negligible expense. A couple neighborhood markets sell wine and food, plus the pizza place there is also very good. There is a large supermarket about a 10 minute walk or a quick bus ride away. All very convenient. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
