My family and I visited New York for a month and stayed in Lisa’s townhouse . The apartment was spacious , very clean and well maintained. The location in midtown was perfect, close to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, theaters and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when we go back to New York.
Cannot say enough good things about this house or owner. Communication was so quick for all of our questions on top of the well thought out handbook and notes. This location could not be better; really is in the center of the best of NYC. Super close to a subway for all other places. So many good food/coffee places close by. The house itself is amazing with comfortable beds and a generous kitchen. We were able to cook meals and had everything we needed. Hoping to book this again when Broadway is back. All the shows were so close! Thank you Lisa!!
The only negative was that the blow up bed did not hold air. Granddaughter had to sleep on the sofa.
We stayed in residence 2a which is the top of the 2 residence building. It took a bit to figure out based on online listings but the owner responded promptly when asked questions. There is one bedroom downstairs a bathroom and the kitchen, dining and living area. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and the laundry. The showers worked great. A nice surprise in an old building. We had to work and got to enjoy the city so having space in the city was nice. The WiFi allowed 2 people to be on zoom calls and another 2 to be working via email and an online system. The kitchen was well stocked with what you need to cook. We went out.... you’re in NYC! My oldest did use the kitchen when heating up a late night snack. Everything worked. There is a subway stop close by and lots of stuff within walking distance. This would be a great location once the city opens for shows again. We all really loved the place. Note: if you can’t do stairs, this isn’t the place for you. You go up steps to get the the door, you go up another flight to get to first level and the go up another for the bedrooms. Checkout the lower level if you need less stairs. There is a big patio area with that unit. There is city noise (but it’s the city). They had ear plugs. There is ac but we didn’t need it. There are the old boilers to heat the place. They are a bit noisy, but it gives the place that historic building feel, the middle bedroom (we called it the “fish bowl”) has skylights so bring a mask if you want to sleep past sunrise or put the early riser in there. The other rooms have dark drapes. This is a legal rental in the city. Very professionally managed and maintained. No scams here. We usually rent when in the city because it turns out to be less expensive for the space. Overall this is a wonderful find and will be a go to for us when we are in the city if it’s not booked.
We’ve been to NYC several times. This was by far the largest property. We had 6 adults stay here and it was more than roomy. We are coming back with our 5 kids and both sets of grandparents. Location is amazing, convenient and feels very safe. Property owner was extremely helpful and very quick to respond! As some one who travels a lot and uses VRBO, I highly recommend. Best property owner I’ve ever communicated with!
What a treat to stay in midtown Manhattan and have plenty of space. All four bedrooms are roomy and uncluttered and the Dining room/Living Room area was perfect for our Covid Thanksgiving.
Enjoyed this lovely flat! Needed a comfortable place to accommodate coworkers for a short business trip. This place did not disappoint. Great location and plentiful restaurants within walking distance. Clean and quite. We’ll definitely be back!
I needed a place to stay in NYC when the apartment I had previously booked with airbnb cancelled at the last minute. The location and everything about this apartment did not let me down. Clean, superb location, spacious and great bang for the buck. Four large bedrooms and a big great room where we were able to hang out at the end of our busy day. Would not hesitate to book this place.
We came to NY for a family celebration and were looking forward to our stay at Midtown Flats. The apartment has a great location, but is quite dark inside and needs some upkeep. Despite having a good first impression, the walls are chipped all over and the wear and tear is visible in the entire house. A big board in the bathroom was broken lying on the ground. The furniture and general amenities are not the high end quality you expect from the pictures, but rather Ikea Style. The cleanliness as well hasn't been too great, fake eyelashes and other thing were found throughout our stay. It's a nice apartment but too expensive for what is offered. We still enjoyed our stay but would not rent it again.
Our five stayed here this past week for a quick trip (3 nights) to NYC. The location is great! Walk to Central Park, Broadway Shows, Times Square, wonderful restaurants, subway a block away! Beds are very comfortable! Nice sitting room and dininr to gather with your people!
