Beautiful apartment exactly as described. In fact we were surprised how much bigger it actually was compared to the photographs. It was immaculate inside and outside. The square always has something happening in it and the apartment is very close to several restaurants but as soon as the windows and balcony door was closed it was very quiet inside.We never got to meet Stefano but Mara regularly checked if there was anything she could do to make our stay even better and responded to communications almost instantly with advice about what to do, where to eat, drink etc. It was like having a personal guide to all things Desenzano. Location was perfect-a 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal so access to other towns on Lake Garda was easy, restaurants nearby (lots of great choices). Train station was a 20 minute walk so made travelling to other towns in the area very easy. Great choice, great place, great hosts.

Large 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment right in the center of town. Walk to everything. Very clean and nice. Parking is a 5 minute walk. The host was great. We would stay again.

Mara met us at the car park and quickly showed us the apartment. It's roomy, extremely clean and the location couldn't be better. Her English is excellent and it was easy communicating with her as we know very little Italian. The bed was comfortable, the apartment almost soundproof and we couldn't believe how much room we had. We only used the refridgerator as we ate out at the many restaurants each night. The location put us close to everything from great restaurants to the walkway along the lake. From the apartment we did day trips into the mountains, up each side of Lake Garda and to several southern lake towns. Having access to the car park made everything extremely simple If we return to Lake Garda, this is definitely where we will stay again. The apartment is gorgeous with fabulous decor. The location is so good being right in the heart of the town and the balcony overlooking the piazza below is such a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Also only a five minute walk to the ferry and so many cafes and restaurants close by to choose from.Mara and Stefano were so helpful and arranged a taxi for us,on our departure. I cannot think of a better place to stay in Desenzano. We have stayed in many European apartments over the years and this has to be one of the best. Well done Mara and Stefano for creating a beautiful place to stay
