The surrounding area is ideal for walks in the harbour area or beach life on the beautiful sandy beach, which is directly adjacent to the harbour area Connects. On the nearby headland of Bottsand is also a wonderful sandy beach, which is divided into a textile and a nudist area. Both the many sailboats and the container ships travelling to or from the Kiel Canal, characterize the picture, especially in the summer months.
