From May 1, 2026-August 1, 2026, Providence's Waterplace Park Pavillion will transform into PUMA's House of Portugal to celebrate Rhode Island's Summer of Soccer to coincide with the FIFA 2026 World Cup with games locally at Gillette Stadium. The House of Portugal will serve as a centerpiece attraction for international soccer fans visiting the area. Expect attractions to include immersive cultural and brand activations, live match viewing experiences, retail and merchandise offerings. ThePenthouse is withing walking distance to the Pavillion and serves as an ideal base to experience this historic celebration in Providence for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and is located approximately 25 minutes south from Gillette Stadium where match play is taking place. The Penthouse is within walking distance to the RI Convention Center where game-day round trip bus tickets are available to ticket holders for $95.

We are steps away from Gather Glass which hosts wonderful glass blowing workshops for all ages. They even offer a class where you make your own ice cream AND serve it in a glass dish you blew yourself. The nearby Gather Farm has goat hiking if that's more your speed. We are also less than a mile from Providence Place mall which has an Imax Theater, Level 99, Dave and Busters, a Lego store and Build a Bear workshop among other popular stores.

In a vibrant and buzzing restaurant district, the 1600sf three-bedroom (one with smart TV) apartment allows guests room to spread out while also reconvening in the open living and dining rooms to enjoy quality time together. There are three queen sized bedrooms, a desk with very comfortable and adjustable chair to sit in in order to work, 50 smart TV, TV in one bedroom, beautiful walk in shower, a galley kitchen and a coffee bar. There is no bathtub.

Guests say Had an amazing stay! The property was spacious, comfortable, spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. Michael & Meagan were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making our trip even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, close to everything, and very walkable. A hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised by this property. The place is spacious, clean, and attention to detail. The bathroom is fully stocked and even had feminine products, bandaids, and Advil packets. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. There is a wide variety of coffee and tea. The bedrooms were the perfect size with a luggage rack (which my parents greatly appreciated). The beds were cozy. The location is great with restaurants right there and just a mile from Brown University. Directions upon arrival were clear and specific. Lastly, the charcuterie board we ordered was delicious! We are so glad we added that to our stay.
