Stayed Aug 2, 2025We enjoyed our stay at this downtown loft. The space was super cool, stylishly set up, and incredibly well appointed—it had everything we needed and then some. The location couldn’t be better; we were able to walk to restaurants, shops, and breweries with ease. The only hiccup was a brief disturbance outside the first night involving someone yelling and banging on trash cans. We called the county non-emergency number, and it was quickly resolved. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rental was exactly as described in the listing, we knew it was in an alley and there could be some noise when we booked! So we should not have been surprised, but it did take us off guard.

Stayed Jul 7, 2025The pictures are very accurate and the location is great in terms of walkability and proximity to things. The only ding on the location is the occasional unhoused person in the lane but they didn’t cause any trouble (and that’s a sad reality of downtown Asheville). The thoughtful amenities and snacks at the property were fantastic. The hosts thought of everything! We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025The apartment is fantastic—comfy beds, well-stocked and a good vibe, however the location is both very good and very bad. The good is the fact it’s close to downtown and takes seconds to get where you want to go. The bad is that the alleyway is home to a number of homeless individuals. Its very sad and at times it was a bit sketchy, particularly when we walked out at dawn and found a knife and sleeping bag up against our door after a man hiding in the alley yelled at my husband the day before. It’s a “downtown” problem right now and not the fault of the loft owners, but one should consider this when choosing to stay downtown generally.

Stayed May 31, 2025Just left the loft after a few days with girlfriends. The location could not have been better for walking around downtown, dining, and perusing the shops. We were able to walk anywhere from Pack Square to Grove Arcade to Park Slope in no time at all. The property was very well stocked with everything we could ever need, including extra toiletries, sleep masks, and earplugs. The kitchen was very well stocked and we could have easily cooked meals at the property. While this did not detract from our stay in anyway, I feel obligated to mention the vibe directly outside the property. The stoop across the alley was frequented by individuals sleeping, among other things. Again, this did not take away from the trip, but just be aware that this seemed like a very common occurrence, however, there was nothing the hosts could do to prevent this. In fact, our hosts very extremely responsive and accommodating during our entire stay. Be sure to read the handy guidebook beforehand, as literally the answer to every question we had could be found here. Overall, great stay!

Stayed Apr 26, 2025We were on a motorcycle trip… typically staying at motorcycle motels (think glamping). This place was a much needed twist to keep things interesting & 33 Carolina has hit it out of the park. I’m so glad I found your space & your management style is top shelf. Truly appreciated Robbie

Stayed Jan 8, 2025We traveled to Asheville with friends and we loved this space. It is large with an open concept - plenty of space and immaculate. The kitchen area was perfect and very roomy. The location is amazing and very walkable to restaurants and fun. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Dec 20, 2024The loft was beautiful -- clean, well-appointed and very comfortable -- and you really can't beat the location! We stayed for a long weekend and loved that we could find plentiful dining, shopping and attractions without having to jump into the car. (Don't miss the Pinball Museum; it was our favorite! For food, the Lobster Trap and Farmer Burger were soooo good; we found Curate overrated.) The parking space was a little further away than we anticipated, but we mostly walked everywhere, so it wasn't a big issue, just something to note. We'd rent again in a heartbeat!

Stayed Jun 20, 2024The house has been beautifully renovated out of a historic building right in downtown and close to everything. I was surprised that being right on chicken alley, which is supposed to be North Carolina’s most haunted street. We did not receive any ghostly visitors during our visit.

Stayed Jun 6, 2024The property is in a perfect location with all of the shops and restaurants within walking distance. The inside is so cute and big enough to fit many comfortably. The main downside is a skylight directly above the main bed which is not ideal if you’d like to sleep in past about 6 am.
