I felt home the minute I arrived. Lovely apartment with lots of amenities. Great neighborhood with everything you need. You’re very well connected with the city by metro or bus.

First floor south facing, airy, overlooking bustling street with lots of nightlife, close to restaurants, shops, a Tuesday and Friday street market gives a genuine Paris neighborhood feel. Apartment is two blocks from multiple metro stations and the bus to the heart of Paris stops at the other end of the plaza in front.

The apartment is very conveniently located in a lively neighborhood. Tons of restaurants nearby. The apartment is charming and has everything you need. We enjoyed our stay very much. There are some restaurants and bars in the restaurants with some noise alight at night, but bring earplugs and it should be no problem.

Fantastic! Nearby bus and metro, we did many walks to Centre Pompidou, La Madeleine, parc Buttes Chaumont, place de la Republic, place de la Concorde, place de la Bastille. Many little shops in the street, Nice wine-bar and pizzarestaurant in front of the appartement. So we were happy to stay for one month there.

First of all I have to say this is the best price for a 2-bedroom apartment in Paris. It’s a lovely place, well secured (2 key-fob doors and a triple-bar locked door), and only 20 steps up from the ground level. Felt very homey and very Parisian. The apartment is stocked with lots of towels, dishes, pots and pans, a microwave and frig. The bedrooms have sheets but no extras so if you have an extended stay, like we did, you may need to wash sheets. It was so nice to go home to our darling apartment with separate bedrooms and a have a place to dine after long days of sight-seeing. To note, There are little paper products so you may have to purchase paper towels, toilet paper and napkins yourself, along with a new kitchen sponge for dishwashing. The apartment is above a bar and although week nights were fairly quiet, the weekend nights can be noisy with smoke and the smell of beer coming into the open windows, so a noise machine came in very handy. The sturdy windows kept out the noise and smells, but this might be difficult in hotter weather. There is a terrific patisserie across the street where we got croissants and coffee every morning and a laundry right next to the street entrance door. The area felt safe with other restaurants within walking distance. Close to metro but be ready to travel to get to the main sights. All in all we loved this little place, we would definitely stay there again.

Our stay in Paris during the Olympics was awesome - excellent location, close to metro stops, lots of restaurants/food in the area. Martine was very responsive to all of our questions and responded quickly. We had an incredible time seeing the Olympics and spending time in Paris. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nice. Perfect for a long stay. Liked be able to feel what it would be like to live in Paris. Everything we needed was within a couple blocks. Bus stop and taxis with in one block. If you have any mobility issues the spiral staircase would be difficult to manage. The tub you have to step up into.

As a US midwesterner, this reminded me a bit of my grandparents' cabin. It's an older property with a few quirks, but the most complete rental I've ever stayed in (really had everything we needed). It felt like we were housesitting for an old friend. It was very nice to have two bedrooms so we could get privacy as needed. So much better than a hotel! There's a wonderful bakery across the way, comfortable beds, easy to get to the metro stops and shops, and Martine is a delightful and knowledgeable host. If you are concerned about marble countertops and brand new everything, this is not the place for you. But if you want a home away from home and a little peace in a busy city this is perfect.

This was a great apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. It's a real neighborhood where people live -- mornings were vibrant with the sound of kids being dropped off at the school nearby, and while there is a bar downstairs, I hardly noticed it from inside. Apartment is very clean, so cozy to hang out in, and the beds were great. Martine is incredibly nice and met me to let me in. Have already sent the listing to several friends.
