There are miles of North Devon Heritage Coast paths to explore as well as trails around Woolacombe itself. The village boasts 3 miles of award-winning golden sands and dunes with clean water, great surfing and lifeguard patrols in the Summer. Woolacombe was the only English beach in the Top 25 of TripAdvisor’s 2020 Traveller’s Choice awards for the world’s best beaches, and was voted Beach of the Year by The Times in 2021. There are shops, cafés, pubs, bars and restaurants all just a 10-minute stroll away from the apartment as well as direct access to the coastal path around Woolacombe Bay, and Barricane Beach with its café’s famous ’Curry on the Beach’ (in high season only) is directly opposite where you can make the most of the beautiful sunsets.

Local picturesque villages Mortehoe, Croyde and Lee are well worth a visit, as well as Exmoor National Park. Victorian llfracombe is 15 mins by car where there are supermarkets and attractions including a theatre, aquarium, Damien Hirst’s ’Verity’, the tunnel beaches and a working fishing harbour offering boat trips to Lundy island, and further afield the main town of Barnstaple has all the facilities you need.
