Stayed Jun 23, 2024We absolutely loved the cabana and the personnel at Wtermen’s retreat! From check in to dining and the water sports offered, all were nothing short of spectacular! We had a blast at our cabana and the beach was a short walk away. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the sunsets were freaking awesome! I highly recommend this resort at the Outer Banks of NC.

Stayed Aug 15, 2020The cabana is well suited for a family. The bedrooms are comfortable and of decent size, and the kitchen and bathrooms are more than adequate. The property is a short walk from either the beach or the sound. A 10-minute drive will also get you to much quieter and open stretches of beaches. We could have done with more seating for dining or for watching TV. Overall, a very good value.

Stayed Jul 25, 2020Super clean, fully equipped. Nearest grocery store is 25 minutes, Kitty Hawk is 35 which is where activities are. Distance to the beach would not a huge deal for folks without kids. We zigzagged through neighborhoods to get to the beach and were screamed at that we were trespassing on someone's property. We eventually drove through another neighborhood to get to the beach but again it was not close enough to make that journey easy. All in all we loved the place but wouldn't recommend it if you have tons of beach gear or young kids.
