2 Mi to Downtown Denver: Stylish Gem w/ Fireplace!

Location was a perfect home base for Denver advertures.

From the location to the luxurious bedroom, this was the perfect stay while I was visiting friends for the holidays. I brought my dog with me and the proximity to the park made this day even more amazing. My favorite was greeting the chickens every morning. This was a wonderful day with an incredible host.

It was perfect. We stayed eight nights and it was within walking distance to the National Jewish Health Hospital where I was undergoing tests. The home was equipped with everything we needed. A walking trail was nearby so we were able to continue with our exercise routine. The mattress was amazing and provided a great night's sleep. The owners were very responsive with any questions we had. It truly is a Gem!

Superb location and host

Well decorated and outfitted subterranean unit in City Park South neighborhood. Conveniently located to other parts of Denver. Perfect for one or two people. The hosts provided clear check in instructions and directions. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! The hosts are on site and are so sweet! They invited our son to feed their chickens and fish and he thought it was the best thing ever. This is truly a hidden gem. The location is fantastic, the place is clean, the coffee machine made sure we were ready for every day. Cannot say enough good things about this rental. If we are ever in Denver again this place will be first on our list to rent.

This property is located in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance to City Park, great restaurants, and a grocery store. The unit itself had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts live on the premises and were very friendly and helpful. Their sweet dogs and the chickens added to the charm of this rental. Parking is on the street, but we were always able to find a spot close to the house. We chose this rental because it was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Denver area.

Fabulous! We had such a nice stay at CJ and Cathy’s place we didn’t want to leave. I knew the moment I walked through the artistic iron gate and we were greeted by the kind and friendly owners, we were going to have a great stay. The basement apartment had everything you would need. The bed was so comfortable my husband, who rarely sleeps through the night, consistently slept through the night here. The bathroom has a heated floor which was a nice touch. The kitchen has everything you might need including an induction cooktop and microwave. They kindly have some condiments, oil and seasoning for use as well. The living room has a marvelous remote controlled fireplace that kept the room nice and warm. The decorations were so well done. All the nice touches like the lighted hall mirror, gold lamps and warm cozy throw blankets were a nice touch. A reference binder has great restaurant suggestions and other instructions. The home is located minutes from City Park and a cool stretch of Colfax with some great restaurants. We loved it and plan to return if we are lucky to find it not rented. Thank you CJ and Cathy!

Updated basement apartment in a lovely neighborhood. I had appointments at NJH which is a short walk away. Lots of options for unique and local dining in a walkable distance. The owner has thoughtfully provided everything you might need during your stay. I would highly recommend!

The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in while traveling. Shower was hot with good water pressure and heated floor. Comfy couch and delicious coffee! We enjoyed the gentle clucking of the hens while we drank our morning coffee in the courtyard. If you are sensitive to sound, you might hear some movement upstairs, but it didn't bother us at all. Great location and very walkable neighborhood . Very close to coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store and park. This will definitely be our first choice when we're in Denver again.
