Stayed Oct 2, 2025Our host was amazing. The refrigerator was stocked with still and sparkling water, cream for the coffee and there were unopened boxes of donuts, cookies and cereal as well as bagels and cream cheese!! He came over the first afternoon to show us how to adjust the thermostat and explain how the hot water worked. I have never felt so welcome at a VRBO before.

Stayed Sep 13, 2025Very nice 2 bedroom loft. We had 5 adults stay and had plenty of room. Owner met with us and went through the loft. He also left us some food and drinks!I would recommend this property and Ben is super nice.

Stayed Jun 5, 2025We came to Pittsburgh to see a baseball game. The location was perfect as it was only a little more than a mile to walk to the baseball stadium. We could walk to the strip, where there was good eateries and shops. to get around via Uber was no big dealThe owner was fantastic. We were personally checked in. We always appreciate when there’s coffee and tea available for our first morning. Know that this is a very eclectic property, but has everything you need.

Stayed Oct 5, 2024We came for a Steelers game and this place was very open and well equipped for a family to stay. Lots of sleeping options (2 bedrooms and 2 futons in common area) with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Ben was wonderful and provided breakfast food, coffee and even frozen pizza if you need a little something! We walked to The Strip which is shopping and restaurants and walked back from the game. Its in the city so there is always a chance to run into interesting people but we always felt safe. We would come back for sure!

Stayed Sep 21, 2024Ben was a fantastic host, meeting us at the property when we arrived in order to provide us with a tour of the space, and responding promptly to any questions we had during our stay. The property itself was both clean and spacious, and the location made for an easy walk to the Strip District, the 2 stadiums, and Downtown. We really enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay here again the next time we're in town!

Stayed Apr 5, 2024We (2 parents, 3 kids) stayed over a long weekend in Pittsburgh as first time visitors, and were delighted with our accomodations at Ben's beautiful and airy property. Super cool property that is converted warehouse space from a long gone department store. We were mostly out and about but the place was great to come back to. Ben was a phenomenal host, really above and beyond. We had a later than intended arrival (~11pm on Fri) but Ben was waiting to greet us and orient us to the place and surroundings. He had also very generously stocked the place with a start up array of groceries and a loaf of the most incredible artisanal bread, all of which was HUGE bonus the next morning. Your mileage may vary [literally] but we found the location to be the perfect jumping off point - we only used our car once when we had to make a buzzer-beating dash to get late dinner. Other than that, we walked everywhere: Heinz History Center, Fort Pitt Museum, Duquesne Incline, PNC stadium. Because we had a relatively short stay, we didn't avail ourselves of everything the apartment had to offer (there's a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and every cooking appliance you can imagine - none of which we used). There are great views of the city (over the freeway) from one bedroom and the livingroom. We're city savvy and had no concerns about the surrounding area. One recommendation - if morning light bothers you, bring a sleep mask. We didn't, but that was great for getting us up and out for our stay.
