Charming holiday apartment located in a quiet pedestrian street, just off Calle Pintada, in the centre of town. Recently refurbished with superb private roof terrace.



Located in the heart of Nerja, Trancos is a first floor apartment, ideally situated for bars, restaurants & shops. Easy walking distance to the beach & the famous Balcon de Europa.



Accommodation is accessed via 18 steps from street level & comprises open plan lounge/dining area with fitted kitchen. A double bedroom, twin bedroom & a family bathroom with shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, 2 ring ceramic hob, combination oven/microwave & fridge freezer.

Lounge area to seat 4 with folding dining table.

Both bedrooms have wardrobes & the bathroom is equipped with a shower & electric heater.

The roof terrace access is via internal stairs & is furnished with terrace dining table, chairs & parasol. Sunbeds & a BBQ are also provided. The utility room with washing machine, is also located on the roof terrace.

Public car park nearby.

Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people´s houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops and tapas bars & restaurants.     The flat was very well appointed and perfectly clean, in a great location a few minutes' walk from the town centre and Balcon de Europa.

    This is the seventh visit to Nerja. It’s just like our second home. Shower could do with being upgraded.

    Such a great apartment for our stay and the location was fantastic. So handy for the supermarket, restaurants, bars and shops, and easy walking either towards the Burriana Beach area or towards the Balcon. It was so handy having our own roof terrace with 2 sun loungers, and with table and chairs too. It is a compact 2 bedroom apartment so really more suited for 2 people staying on their own. I would definitely stay here again. The beds are comfortable but very squeaky so not the best if anyone tosses and turns during the night. If we went for a shower one after the other then the water tended to go cold for the second person, but we just spelled our showering to accommodate. Although the apartment is on a 'quiet' pedestrianised street, we slept in the front bedroom and could generally hear any work being done or anyone talking loudly outside, which happened quite a lot. This was even with the patio doors and the outside roller shutter shut. Earplugs did the trick.

    Perfect location for shops and restaurants. In a side street which means it is relatively quiet but central for all that Nerja has to offer. Minutes away from a large supermarket for all your essentials.

    Location perfect for restaurants, bars and supermarket. Loved having our own roof terrace with sunbeds and table/chairs for outside dining. Having had a few problems with a leaking shower, it may be time to renew the shower cubicle completely.

    Perfect central location, near all the buzz of Nerja but you can retreat to Calle Trancos for moments of relaxation. Sun beds could do with being renewed and provision of more coffee mugs.

    Great location, apartment had most things we needed. The door however is a real problem. We got locked outside with key on inside of door had to call locksmith cost 80 euros. It happens ALL the time said the lock smith and the agent know s it too as he laughed at us and knew exactly why and how it happened when we called. Instead of putting a different handle on, they just let the problem reoccur time and time again.

    We arrived from Malaga by bus, 8 minute walk to appt down Pintada. Much cheaper than a taxi, and quite easy. It was a bit of a struggle up the steep steps to appt through a narrow doorway with heavy cases much easier coming down! The appt is extremely well equipped, coffee machine, sharp knives, washing machine so you only need half the amount of clothes! The beds were very comfortable, we slept very well. In February it’s very cold a night, so we ended to use the air con as a heater on 30! There isn’t an oven, only 2 hot plates…which we didn’t need to use! Why cook when wine and tapas and local meals are so reasonable! The terrace was great when the sun was out, which was limited as we were there in February. So central to local tapas bars, shops ad restaurants. We would have stayed again next year but the appt isn’t available until later in the year. A wonderful apartment only 6 minutes walk to the supermarket!
