Torrance is a safe and family friendly city located in the heart of Southbay. Our apartment is located in a very convenient area where you can WALK to restaurants, groceries, and major shopping malls. (And of course, Starbucks :)
LOCATIONS:
* 1 min to I-405 freeway.
* Walking distance to South Bay Galleria and major shopping malls & restaurants on Hawthorne Blvd.
* 10 min drive to major beach cities (Manhattan Beach / Hermosa Beach / Redondo Beach).
* 10 min drive to Del Amo Fashion Center.
* 15 min drive to LAX.
* Short drive to Santa Monica, Venice, Hollywood, Downtown L.A as well as Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm and Universal Studios and other attractions in Los Angeles area.
HOUSE RULES:
* Check-in is anytime after 4pm and check-out is 11am.
*No un-registered guests in the premises at any time. (If you registered as 2 guests, only 2 guests are allowed inside)
* No SMOKING!!! (We'll charge you $300 cleaning fee if smoking occurs)
* No pets.
* No any type of parties /gatherings / filming / events.
* No loud music at any time.
* Quiet hours are 10pm-7am.
* No food in bedrooms.
* Please be respectful of our neighbors.
* To maintain the cleanness of the house, we ask our guest to take off shoes.
PARKING:
If you have a car, park right in front of the house. There are no permits needed and usually we have plenty of parking available. Street cleaning is on Wednesday morning 9am - 12pm. Please move your car on the other side of street if you plan to sleep in on Tuesday.
**** IMPORTANT NOTES****
* We don't allow any type of parties / gatherings / events. The host lives onsite in a different unit, so we'd know right away. If you violate the rule, your reservation will be immediately canceled.
* For liability reasons, guests may NOT bring any visitors or any others to our home at any time, for any length of time. Only registered guests may enter the premises.
* This apartment is centrally located on a main street, some street noise is unavoidable. If you are expecting country quiet at night, this may not be a fit for you.
* There is an outdoor security camera monitoring the street entrance to the house for everyone's safety.
Just right. Street parking is a little busy but successful. Rules were stricter than I am used to - no visitors allowed. Never saw owner and did not know how to contact her if I needed to but it was a good experience.
So clean and having laundry access within the property was a total game changer. Super close to everything we wanted to see and great restaurants. The host was incredibly responsive and I would, without a doubt, book this property the next time I’m in town. Thank you for helping make our trip easy and fun!
It was a nice apartment. It had everything we needed. Couch was not very comfy to sit and watch tv. Great communication with the host. Close to everything. Only a few minutes drive to the beaches. CVS was next door and had some clearance as they are closing.
Great location for what we needed. Easy drive to the beach and food. I would stay again when I am on a business trip, because we do not need to stay at the house very long. No AC and the floors were a little sticky/dirty. Washing machine was great.
Excellent location! Due east from Hermosa Beach, right off the 405 for easy access L.A. and environs. Spotless. Private outdoor patio for alfresco dining.
Very nice and comfortable. Supply of dishes and cutlery is skimpy. Apartment is clean but some areas could use a touch-up: The door of the dishwasher is grimy and the bathroom sink faucet is grimy. I would stay there again with pleasure.
Is a quiet neighborhood, strategic location, close to Mall, grocery store, pharmacy next door. The house is very comfortable, clean, with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the close drive to the beach. We would definitely come back.
The property was conviently located. It had plenty of amenities. Everything was clean and well taken care of.
One thing that caught me off guard was that there was no AC. Typically it wouldn’t be an issue but when I visited there was a heat wave. The first day was a little warm but the rest of the trip was nice. Having the cvs next door was great to run and get things that we needed and also conveniently sold beer/wine which was a bonus. We did not rent a car and used Lyft the whole trip and there was always a ride nearby the house. The owner was also very helpful and pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a great vacation!
I loved my stay in the apartment, very clean, soap provided for washer and sheets for dryer. Coffee provided for those early mornings. It was super convenient having the CVS next door so you can just grab what you forgot or if you wanted beer or liquor. Overall, I'd highly recommend this property to any future travelers. (Also, fantastic not having to carry a key around due to the coded door.)
