Spacious apartment that had everything we needed for a short stay in Boston. Near the Orange line to take the train downtown and able to walk to Sam Adams Brewery and local grocery store.
Perry was an excellent host!
Thanks, perry for the hospitality and advice.
We had a great girls weekend - flying into Boston to see a friend. The place had everything we needed and nice homey touches like house plants. The big kitchen table which was a bonus. The off street parking was convenient and appreciated. There was a spacious living room for movies, snacks, and morning yoga. Ula cafe was in walking distance and a lovely spot for a morning coffee and pastry. Would stay again.
Had a very nice stay and visit to Boston. Property is well kept, very convenient to to orange line subway. On site parking was also a huge plus.
We appreciated the convenience of staying here which was in close proximity to a resident family member. Perry was extremely helpful in addressing questions prior to our arrival and helped us retrieve some items we left by mailing them to us. The off street parking was very convenient and a definite perk! Areas for improvement just based on our own personal needs would include newer mattresses and bedding. My husband has mobility issues and he can move much better on a firm bed. These beds were fairly soft. Kitchen had lots of items but drawers felt a bit cluttered with what seemed like a lot of random, leftover items. Just our opinion so not trying to be overly critical. Thank you for welcoming us to Boston!
My husband and I, along with our daughter, were visiting our other daughter, who lives in Jamaica Plain over Thanksgiving weekend. Our younger ( adult) daughter stayed with her sister three of the four nights we were there. The apartment is comfortable, and had everything we needed, including an abundant supply of hangers in the closet. The unit has nice, very clean wooden floors. We were a little surprised that there was not a single area rug, but perhaps that makes cleaning easier. We were amazed at how quiet the unit was. As it turned out, the hosts, who live upstairs, were also gone, and the noise level did pick. up when they returned Sunday afternoon, but not to the point of being a problem . There is a shared foyer with the host, and upon their return, that space sprouted shoes and jackets, but these appeared to belong to their children, and were not in the way, just a trifle messy. These are more observations than complaints, our unit was comfortable and well supplied, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the light switches being labeled, instructions for the thermostat, and even a little note saying how long it would take the water to get hot! We had a pleasant stay.
We were a group of three college friends in town to race in the Head of the Charles. The apartment was perfect for us in every way. Very comfortable, everything we needed. And Perry was super responsive when we had a few questions at check in. We hope to stay there again next year for the race.
We found this location to be wonderful. We were within a short commute to just about everything we wanted to do. The one thing we loved the most was private parking at this place. It was nice to come home and know exactly where we would be parking without having to locate something on the street. Perry communicated very well with us to make sure our time spent in Boston was an enjoyable one!
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT AND EVEN BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED. PERRY WAS AWESOME TO WORK WITH AND SO HELPFUL WITH OUR STAY IN BOSTON. HE IS SO HAPPY TO HELP WITH RESERVATIONS, BEST FOOD IN TOWN, TICKETS FOR ATTRACTIONS, TRAVEL AND SO MUCH MORE. THANKS PERRY FOR OUR WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.
Two parents, two sons and one Fiancé met in Boston to attend the US Open, see Wicked, attend a Sox Game and take in the sights, sounds and tastes of the area. Jamaica Plain was the perfect home-base for our time in Boston with easy access to the subway and many close dining options. Perry was a great host and so very helpful. We enjoyed time in the backyard- grilling, drinking coffee, unwinding and harvesting fresh berries. Would HIGHLY recommend this delightful home!
We came into town for a summer course at the public health Harvard campus and it was so easy to get there and then to the city. If transit wasn't available an Uber was a short ride away. The location was great and the house was perfect. They had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
I was not aware it was a duplex, but we had a nice time.
The property was clean and well equipped. The property manager is proactive and responsive. We couldn’t have been happier.
