Step into the spacious kitchen/diner, rustle uptasty meals, grab a quick cuppa at the breakfast bar, and eat together in the dining space. Next to it is the living area, where you can relax on the sofas in front of the TV or a good movie, and soak up the views, with patio doors to the balcony. The king-size bedroom makes a relaxing haven, it’s light and airy and has a handy en-suite shower room. There’s also a pretty twin room and a bathroom for everyone to use. Take a glass of wine out to the balcony to enjoy the wonderful views as the sun goes down on another fun day.

Wander into Fowey to visit the town’s excellent range of shops and places to eat out. Grab a pasty from the bakery, enjoy fresh seafood, pub grub or fine dining, and, of course, you can get fish and chips. The flat is on the South West Coast Path, with stunning walks from the estuary towards the sea. The small, sheltered beach of Readymoney Cove is less than 500 metres away, overlooked by St Catherine’s castle. Catch the ferry to Polruan to explore the other side of the estuary, visit Fowey Aquarium at the quay; the Eden Project (6 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (14.5 miles) are within reach too.
