We enjoyed our stay at this super clean and convenient place. The only downside was the squeaky floors which woke us up when people would walk upstairs.

Everything was clean and neat. The bath tub was surprisingly huge which made it nice for getting our younger kids cleaned up. Easy to walk to the nearby coffee shop and restaurants around Kalamazoo. You can hear a fair amount of street noise and people walking the apartment above, but nothing abnormal for a city apartment. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location in Kalamazoo. In walking distance of lots of restaurants & shops. Comfortable 1st floor unit with all we needed for our weekend visit.

We were in Kalamazoo for a soccer tournament. This place worked out great for us. Gave us space from the kids and close to the fields! Unit was clean and ready for us when we arrived! Great experience!

Overall, this unit looks very nice. Beds were comfortable with good variety of pillows so you can find what's comfortable for you. The place was clean and very roomy. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I saw the faucet in the kitchen sink wasn't working properly - just a dribble at most. I texted the owner using a number that was given on site, but didn't receive a reply. The power went out, due to a storm, while we were there and this time I contacted the owner via VRBO to see if there were flashlights or emergency lighting anywhere. He responded that there was none. I don't expect anyone to come out during a storm, but when power was still out the next night, it would have been nice to get something. The strangest thing to me was the policy of sending directions (driving, parking, entry) only 2 hours ahead of check in time. Our drives were longer than that. I asked a couple times if we could get the info in advance and the owner did finally send the address (though it was maybe 3 hours before check in.) I'm a planner, so would have liked to have all the info prior to that. Be aware this place can sleep up to 6, but in the living area there is one sofa and one chair, 4 stools at the kitchen counter.

The online description is correct. And I hate to right this review but no other reviews mentioned these things that I would have wanted to know before I stayed. The live house plants are super cute and give it a homey feel. The thing that you need to be aware of are: the walls are super thin so when anyone walks upstairs you hear every foot step. If anyone is talking as they walk down the street, you hear every word. It is close to cute coffee shops but also has some questionable characters walking by the apartment. So I just wouldn’t stay here without my husband again. The shower is in a huge garden tub, which is super hard to get in and out of so if your short or have difficulty with mobility, I would think twice. Lastly, it’s still an old building so if you have a lot of dust allergies, take that into consideration.

This was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. It is right by restaurants and shopping and has convenient off-street parking. It was a little cold when we got in, but the instructions for the thermostat were clear, and when we returned after a couple of hours, everything was cozy.

I loved this small and very comfortable apartment. It had everything I needed for a week long family visit. This will be my go-to place to stay next family visit. The property manager was very responsive in getting the repair person to address the beep from a smoke alarm. Excellent apartment with outstanding support.

Great location in Vine neighborhood. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and brewery. Condo was clean, beds were comfortable and nicely furnished overall. Only issue was when we ran the dishwasher night before departure, it started leaking soapy water all over the floor (and the provided dishwasher tabs were used). We had noticed the floor by dishwasher was warped and suspect this may not be the first time. If we had gone to sleep, not sure what mess we would have found in the morning. We notified property manager right away and they responded the following morning that maintainence would be out to inspect it. We were leaving that day, so not sure if dishwasher was fixed, but would hope so. I

My wife and I spent a week on vacation in Kalamazoo. This apartment was ideally situated within walking distance of downtown, the Kzoo mall, many restaurants. Parking was easy in a private lot. K-zoo’s location also made for great day trips to the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again when visiting K-zoo.
