1 Bedroom Apartment in Cagliari

I wish I could give this experience more than five stars. Dolores and Alessandro were wonderful hosts! They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport at no extra charge, walked us up to the flat and fully explained everything from how things worked to the best places to eat nearby. This, despite having only a little English and us having zero Italian. The flat was wonderful in every way: Clean, comfortable beds, quiet, exactly as pictured and described. It's up two flights of stairs -- we found it easy with small suitcases, but if you've got a stroller for example, this is worth knowing. The location was everything you'd want in an Italian getaway: The flat is at the top of the ancient castle and right next to a massive church, with plenty more to explore. We encountered two artists creating in their workshops and a private gallery of enameled tiles found in the area. But any direction you might choose to walk down you'll find a charming neighborhood. To the east, we recommend Benedetto market for authenticity; to the south, the very charming old city and port, which I imagine would be crowded with cruise ship tourists in summer, but every restaurant you might saunter into is fantastic. To the west are A restaurants still on the hilltop, and an ancient coliseum at bottom. Oh and there are lifts from the bottom to the top, but you have to find them.Three days on the ground was perfect for us. Recommend.

Jewel of a beach, best for swimming, steps away! Alessandro was accommodating and pleasant.

Great location and spacious place. Alessandro picked us up at the airport, which was nice, check in went very smooth. Alessandro was also very communicative and helpful with our requests for recommendations and other items. Definitely recommend.

In the middle of old town was perfect for us!
