And after you get settled come out back to enjoy our 180° (shared with owner) backyard deck views of the unforgettable Colorado sunsets. And if you like your kitchen is fully stocked to cook your own meals.
We love having guests and your private basement level apartment has all of the amenities for a relaxing trip.
The comfort starts with plush wall to wall carpeting in most rooms. For your sleeping pleasure our two bedrooms have king and queen beds that accommodate up to 4 guests.
In addition, two small guests can use our sleeper sofa. And we have a crib for families.
In the bath, we provide hair dryer, plush towels and for the shower a luxurious rain head. The bath also includes an LG washer and dryer.
In the kitchenette, we have provided a two burner electric stove, toaster, microwave, Ninja coffee maker and two mini fridges.
In the living room, you have an 46" HDTV, cable, WiFi Hi-Speed Internet and USB Jacks in some outlets for charging.
You have full access to wake up in the morning and enjoy your morning coffee OR an evening beverage on the back yard deck facing the Rocky Mountains. (Please use the side gate by the garage, and say hi to our friendly dog Maggie).
In the morning go for a run around our community.

Guests = Front door, into Welcome front room, then to basement stairs.
Owners = Garage to back of house and our upstairs (we do not see you unless we are both in front of the house at the same time).
Guests = Welcome to come to back yard thru gate and use deck, take pics, enjoy sunset, etc.
You have your own kitchenette, laundry room, living room and backyard deck thru the side gate. There is also plenty of safe street parking for your vehicle(s).
Other things to note
All major shopping stores near-by (Target, Walmart) and fast and slow casual dining at the Orchard Mall at 144th and i-25 (5 miles South West)
No pets are in the unit, however our cute Yellow Lab is on the property in the main part of the house. She will not have any direct contact with you.

Michael and Susan were the most amazing hosts. They truly thought of everything to provide ease and convenience for their guests. The stay was cozy but had enough room for all of us to spread out comfortably. Instructions were clear and easy to follow with great communication and help along the way. The beds were spacious and comfortable and they were generous enough to provide toiletries for us all. They earn my highest recommendation for quiet a stay in the area.
Excellent stay! Everything you need is provided by the owners. Quick access to the toll road and I25. Two separate bedrooms a big plus. Used this place to visit family In Louisville and Erie. Definitely will use again.
We loved absolutely everything about this cozy basement bungalow. Michael and Susan are very lovely and it was a pleasure meeting them.
The house and neighborhood are gorgeous. The location is close to the expressway. Plenty of shopping and restaurants near by if you don't want to cook at home. Lots of room and privacy. Windows to let in natural light. Definitely skip the hotel and stay here. It's fantastic!
I stayed at this property with my 3 college aged children for 5 days. We were in Colorado for a combination of business and pleasure. I booked the property based on location and cost. I will be honest-my kids were not excited to stay in someone’s basement. But after seeing the apartment and spending a day there they all changed their mind and said they would absolutely stay there again. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location allowed us to spend time in Boulder, Estes Park, Denver and Garden of the Gods without feeling like we were spending the majority of the time in the car. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Mike!!

The basement apartment had everything we needed! I do think that the main photo for this place is a bit misleading as we did not even see a way to get to the back patio, and the front patio was very small. Would have enjoyed better access to the advertised patio photo. But overall we had a great stay! Very clean and comfortable.
Apartment is as good or better then the description. Very comfortable beds. It seemed airy and light, even though it’s a basement. Shower was modern and really nice. Extra touches like soap, all the towels, usb outlets next to bed make this place very modern and great for travel. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to stay in the area!

This is an amazing place to stay. It is clean, well-appointed, and clearly well-cared for by the owners. Our family of four loved this property. It looks nothing like a basement; it has high ceilings, smells clean with no dampness, and is well lighted. We never saw Michael in person, but did speak to his wife Sue for a bit the first day. She is a gracious and kind person, inviting us to use their back yard whenever we wanted to do so. Bottom line, this is a great rental with great owners, near many great hikes and parks and only half hour from the Denver airport. Thank-you Michael and Sue!
