Stayed Mar 26, 2025The place is infested with bugs. And the water reeks of sulfur there you can't shower now brush your teeth. I only stayed one night on a 6 night stay and had to check into a hotel. Terrible. Would not recommend.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025This cabin style complex is so well put together. Everything is immaculate clean, cozy, beautiful grounds. Easy access to Dripping Springs. 20 min to Pedernales Park. I’d stay again 100%!

Stayed Dec 27, 2024My partner and I had a wonderful at this Inn. We will definitely be back. My only recommendations for improvment would be to replace or fix the shower head, and replace bath curtain regularly. We also encountered a very strong sulfur smell from the the well water, usually after we showered. Also, please provide a pen so we can sign the guest book.

Stayed Nov 15, 2024A lovely location for those wanting a secluded retreat. The suite itself was clean and charming, a bit rustic. The bed was comfortable with nice linens, check in was simple. We were disappointed to find that the only soap available was in the bathroom in a dispenser that had less than an ounce left. There was also no coffee even though there was a coffee machine. When I called the property manager, I was told that she would contact the housekeeper about providing more soap but that the owner obviously chose Not to provide coffee so we should have brought our own coffee and filters. WHAT!? And no, the housekeeper never did bring any more soap. It clearly stated on check out instructions that we should wash all dishes before checking out. What were we supposed to use? The small amount of lotion soap in the bathroom. Made me wonder if the mugs and glasses were actually clean. I understood that there wouldn't be a kitchen but rather an area with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. But there was only one spoon available, no plates or bowls. Finally, on the first night, there was a horrible sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It was really strong and nauseating but seemed to dissipate by the morning. This is from the listing: The Southern Comfort is a splendid option, featuring luxury linens, private baths, hair dryers, soaps, and shampoos to cater to your needs. As a thoughtful touch, we provide freshly ground coffee to help you kickstart your mornings.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024I loved staying here. It was so relaxing and nice to get away from the city, and actually be able to see the stars. The loft was very cute and the bed was super comfortable. The jacuzzi was a nice addition to make the stay that much more relaxing. Can't wait to be back!

Stayed May 30, 2024The Comfort Inn looked exactly like the photos online! It was a very relaxing environment with a hammock, hot tub, and it was 12 min drive off the main road. The place was clean, the owner checked on us after a big hail storm. We felt like we were in a luxurious treehouse. Each 2nd story window had trees nearby and we had multiple lovely views of the rolling hills. We had our own secluded balcony with table a s chair for our morning breakfasts. We relaxed in the hammocks every night and morning. The jack and jill bedrooms were a huge plus! We loved the beautiful touches such as stained glass windows and full wooden ceilings. We talked about doing a girls' trip again with a party of 4.
