I have told host about loud grinding noise coming from the bathroom sink whenever cold water was on, they promised that someone will come fix it same day, but it was still there during our 5 night stay. Condition was super loud whenever fan kicks on. The balcony was shared with the next door occupants and was separated by a tarp, not to mention the size of the balcony was barely big enough to fit a single chair. I did not book room with the balcony, I specifically got one with a view of the ocean, expected to have a decent size window overlooking the ocean, instead I got a single glass door with the view on a tarp and approximately 2x2 feet balcony with single chair that was keeping the door from opening all the way. I told host about my concerns few times but they didn’t want to accommodate me in any way.
My wife and I were on our honeymoon where we were spending the week exploring the state of FL. Upon entering this condo we realized it was part of a hotel which wasn’t clear in the description. There were multiple appliances broken as well as the toilet paper holder ripped from the wall. Also the pictures over sold how big the space was- it was just a hotel room size with maybe a square foot for a BALCONY. Overall the stay was okay but nothing spectacular.
It was great stay at this location. The staff was great and the owner was very helpful! Would definitely recommend!
Hosts had properties in the Hotel which was unusual, but they were offering a slightly better rate; big mistake. We get a call a few hours after checking in stating we needed to meet them to pay them. Wasn't disclosed and is sketchy. The person was put out trying to coordinate a time to meet. During our stay they wanted maintenance to do some work & were upset when we told them we didn’t want them accessing our room while we were out. Room was filthy. Most walls had damage. Floors hadn't been cleaned, we found food under the dresser. The dishware looked unwashed. Every amenity was misrepresented. Laundry had no soap as stated in the listing (we left what we bought behind), dryer full of sand, internet was nonexistent & wasn’t free; it wants you to download an app that ties to your paid account. Ironing board legs had been sawed through. The advertised balcony (now removed) is barely large enough for a single chair. The door does not lock or seal, so your room fills with the smell of smoke from the other balconies. The cleaning crew pounded on our door demanding that we leave & should have checked out. Argued for 10 minutes, at which point they realized they had the wrong room, no apology. An hour later, the person we met a few days earlier, comes looking for payment. Also argued with us that we should be someone else, and then realized she had the wrong room. We sent a summary of our issues and their response that told us we were wrong about everything and to shove it.
We had a great stay at this location! Management made everything very clear and easy. The elevators did seem to be an issue and had extremely long wait times. The pool was closed and communication with front desk wasn’t very clear. We were there a few days before we found out we could access the pool at the hotel next door since ours was closed. The balcony was a bit of a disappointment. It was tiny with room for only 1 person at a time, and a canvas splitting the balcony that blocked all of the sun. The balcony door does not lock either. I agree we were on the 16th floor so wasn’t worried about intruders, but if your balcony neighbor wanted to climb over they easily could. This left us nervous about leaving anything worth value in the room. Overall it was a good stay and was enough to accommodate why we were in Miami.
The owner/host are cheap in the wrong areas. The balcony view is gorgeous, but they chopped it up with a divider from the adjacent room in order to maximize income. The result is there is barely enough room for a single chair, which is difficult move out there. Very frustrating. Most of the published amenities were unavailable. Only two elevators in operation and long waiting times. The operator lurks around the lobby, without a desk and chair to check you in, and is separate from the hotel check in process. When you arrive, the valet takes your car and is ready to charge you $30 for the privelege. Then when you check in with the lurking lobby operator, you find out that the parking was included and you are then directed to go get your own car back. Yes, it's a clean room and a great neighborhood, but hardly worth the money, and quite deceiving.
Nice overall property. Comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom and shower. Nice having the w/d in unit although the washer is very loud and the dryer took 2 cycles to dry the clothes.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This rental is located in the middle of a chic shopping district with shops, cafes, galleries and night life. The room was impeccably clean, bright and spacious. It's well-appointed with chic furniture, a very comfortable bed and a charming balcony with views of the pool and the ocean beyond. It's well appointed with a walk-in closet and well-lit bathroom. There's also an in-room stacked washer/dryer in the unit, which is tucked away near the closet. On-site parking was a breeze to navigate, and I felt safe in the parking deck. I would recommend this place to a friend, and will likely stay there during a future Miami visit.
The next afternoon when we got settled into the correct room, we found that it had not been cleaned adequately (clumps of hair on the bed ) and not well maintained. * see email sent to: [email protected]
Owners of the property responded to every message I sent. Check in and check out was easy. Balcony was Small but had a great view. Cable in the room and room was clean. The only thing that did not work was the fridge but it was still an excellent stay.
We didn’t have to drive much of anywhere. We were conveniently located next door to some of the best restaurants. The location made it easy to relax and explore. We walked pretty much everywhere we needed to go. We drove few miles across town to get to the beach and the biggest and nicest mall with most popular brand stores. We were located next to some nice parks and recreational centers and areas. Water sports right across the street. This room has an amazing view of the city and in the back end of the hotel was breath taking views of the ocean and marinas. The hotel is beautiful and smells amazing. Nice tv and kitchenette. Easy parking and great staff. I felt like the host made my stay super easy and effortless. I’m already planning to return.
