lovely 2-bedroom apartment with pool 2B

Needs work to building decks rooms for the price you pay should be nicer in a great location but accommodations should be better thanks

The room/apartment was not the cleanest or most put together room with multiple screw holes in the walls, curtains that didn’t fit the windows, dusty closet shades and uncomfortable furniture. My biggest reason for lower review is that the photo with the disclaimer saying photos may not be exact was not there when I booked. I went between two listings and picked this one because of the layout of the place and photos. Was disappointed as the room was not what we booked. Location is amazing and so close to the beach. Only reason I would go back is because of the location. They were very accommodating and let us check in early. Our room was not serviced between nights like they said it would be either.

We were a little preseason, but we didn’t expect 6 old AC units to be stacked blocking the access to the unit’s door, porch ceiling tile failing down, no heat, missing light glass covers, missing vanity bulbs, a broken shower rod, air blowing through the poorly installed window ac units, an easily picked lock ( we locked valuables in our car when not on the room.) ect. I meticulously went through the online Vrbo pictures before booking to make sure there was the required space, accessories, cleanliness and safety need to bring a 2 year old. I was extremely disappointed to not get the room pictured.. It took us an hour as a family to decided we would even stay, as the size and location we needed for our family. Upon expressing disappointment the office worker did say she could find us portable heaters and move the ac’s or we could try canceling through Vrbo. She did bring us 4 portable heaters, which ended up tripping a breaker the morning of check out. I personally moved the AC to one side of the hallway myself. On other notes, there was a lot of really gag-worthy things as far as cleanliness. There was no one available at check out for me to follow up with about the tripped breaker. I did reply to a email they sent. I am willing to upload photos if giving the opportunity.
