Marshall, Arkansas
Come to relax and have fun with the family, friends, or just take some alone time. In addition to our large group housing at The Bunkhouse here in Marshall, AR we have been blessed on adding this quaint farmhouse. 2 miles from the Kenda Drive-In Theater, 9 miles away is the Buffalo River or if shopping is your thing, north is the way to go. Harrison has plenty of nice shops, flea markets, eateries, and such. Enjoy plenty of day trip activities in Branson, MO, also the home of Silver Dollar City.
Super host and cute place. It had everything we needed. Only disappointment was, due to our schedule, we didn't get to sit on the front porch rocking chairs and take in the peaceful surroundings. Would book again.
I've stayed twice so far... and will stay again. The hosts are extremely friendly, treat you like family, and go out of their way to accommodate. It is a great place to stay when in the area for canoeing, hiking, and exploring the Buffalo National River. It is in town, but has an out of town feel. Enjoy your morning coffee on the full front porch and watch the sunset playing catch in the wide-open back yard.
I chose this because I was on my way to Mountain Home & wanted somewhere in between. I was on my way to get my puppy & even though it’s not listed as “ pet friendly “ they let me bring her. It’s comfortable & clean. A cute mobile home with the exterior & interior tweaked to look like a farmhouse. Great for 1-4 people. I noticed many attractions on my way to Mountain Home. This is a more affordable VRBO than some. For the price I think you can’t go wrong. Very responsive hosts also. Bring a fan if noise of window unit going on & off would bother you.
This was the perfect place to stay to easily access the visitor center at Buffalo National River. We had enough space and the amenities to clean up after days spent playing outside. The only downside - since we have many food allergies, we prep all of our food. The kitchen lacked good cutting knives and cookware. I ended up using a paring knife to try to cut up sweet potatoes. Adding a few more items to the kitchen for food prep would make it easier for those who are not just grabbing freezer meals. We would come and stay again and recommend the FarmHouse.
Small trailor that was very cute.. owners live across the road and we're very kind.. very nice place to stay
Super cute! Perfect location if you need somewhere to stay after floating the Buffalo. Would definitely stay again.
Just as we imagined from the description, we were looking for a place just large enough for 3 kids and 2 adults for a quick trip to float the Buffalo River. Everything was clean and inviting. It is small so don't expect much room inside, but the large covered porch and large yard gave us plenty of room to spread out. Just a small warning to anyone who might not expect this, air conditioning is provided by 3 window units, not central air. We expected it due to the pictures, but to some people, this can be an issue. Window units tend to be loud and blow cold air near where you sleep, so just be aware. It's located just a few blocks from the old town square but you feel like you're miles out in the country. We'll definitely stay again.
I feel like the property was over rated. After everything was done with extra fees, it wasn’t worth the stay. When you are forced to pay the Insurance to rent and with no other options. I feel like the price needs to be adjusted for the location it is at.
Very pleasant. Had to track down the manager via phone at checkin. Not a big deal bug had to get access code from her. Bed in master seems a little small. Plenty of coffee and condiments in the kitchen. Would stay here again. Very fast fiber optic internet.
It’s a great spot to go after a long day of floating and play on the Buffalo River Nice quit and very convenient.
