Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Our home has two upstairs bedrooms, Blue and Red, with a shared bathroom. This listing is for the Blue bedroom. We're a 10-acre farm surrounded by woods, about a fifteen minute drive to Chapel Hill. My husband and I live on the lower floor, and our adult daughter lives in the Red bedroom. We work in the fields and forest just outside the door. Standard fee covers two guests with three-day minimum stay.
This stay has been awesome and like a second home for me and my family. Great family and great stay!
Awesome experience and awesome people. It has been like a second home for me.
Good place to stay
Hosts Cindy & John are kind, welcoming and very hard working owners of a beautiful organic farm very conveniently located in the triangle area. The surroundings and accommodations are modest yet very inviting, informal and relaxed. They have a beautiful family and guests are invited to dine with them in the kitchen over delicious home grown vegetables. The rooms are well air conditioned, clean and comfortable. If I am able to return to the area for further art education... I hope I will be able to stay on the farm again... Thank you...I really enjoyed my stay...
The guests were very accommodating and friendly. The room was was very nice and cool. The family was very nice nice to get to know and pancakes on Sunday morning were really a treat.
Good location, Great hosts and awesome farm. Accommodations were just what I needed.
My wife and I spent a week at the farm and had a great time! Cindy, her family, and workers are all super nice people - very friendly, inviting, and helpful. The room is very comfortable, albeit tight, but plenty of room for you and your stuff. There is a huge closet with room for all of your clothing. The AC in the bedroom is strong and cold, and kept the room quite cold (sometimes too cold!). The bathroom is plenty big, my only complaint is there is not enough shelf space (i.e. for a change of clothes). It is located a short drive from Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh (we never drove longer then an hour to any one city in the Triangle). I will say this - it is a working farm, and that comes with the dirt, the smells, the life of a farm - it is NOT a fancy resort, if that's what you're looking for..but it IS worth every penny! If you stay here, make the short drive to the Kraken bar one night for some live music, good local brews, and meet some local people. Overall, I would not hesitate to use the farm again in the future!
Host were great ........place was clean ..wouldn’t want to try and find the driveway in the dark the first time
Thank you for sharing your home. We loved staying at the Eco Farm. I haven't slept that deeply in a very long time. Our stay with you made a family visit for our niece's graduation even more special...thank you for your kindness.
I stayed here for a month until I got a better feel for the area primarily because it was one of the cheaper places on VRBO. It was everything I needed as I really just needed a place to sleep. They opened up the house to me and were very generous. This is NOT a resort, nor should you think it is, as described in the listing. It's on a farm, which is something new to me, but if you grew up on a farm you'll probably love it.
